Yep, you'd animate the cars on separate paths. You can record them at the same time, or as separate sequences. One trick I used was to place one path and get that looking good, and then duplicate that path actor, and nudge the waypoints a little to add some variation to the chase car. If you record at the same time they can nudge and interact with each other. I recommend playing with the Profile Strength on each car, maybe have the lead car use a slightly lower profile strength so the chase car can look a bit more threatening.

I haven't tried, but it shouldn't be a problem. You will need to handle steering animations etc separately though
