Look forward to your Tutorials Blakey. I've been a House Dj for nearly 30 yrs now. Started off with, Chicago House, now Progressive. You are a Master Technician, and i'm still learning and picking up different tips from Top Dj's like yourself. I've always used the loop, when bringing the mix in (so not to go to far into your tune) especially on the shorter Radio edits, and on a recent vid, i saw you using the Beat jump, the way i use the loop. So even though very similar, it's another variant to use. Thanks Blakey. Appreciate you. 🙏
Thanks for this tutorial! I started in vinyls but I just love the new possibilities digital gear offers now, as demonstrated in your video. It lets you pick and choose which part of the tracks to play and results in really tight sets that makes it even more fun for the crowd to dance to. Keep up the great work.
As an old school DJ, I still love mixing my vinyl, but also love DJing and exploring the creative possibilities of digital DJing, such as using loops like demonstrated here. Big respect and love!
Blakey good tutorial but on professional soundsystem in club that kind of backspin wont be heared, also its better to make long backspin with not so much cutted low eq some about 8 kicks before drop or break. Good technique is using echo before break/drop also. But still is very usefull tutorial for newbies, keep pushing lets make djing great again 😅
@@Tyszkers Hey there. I hear what you’re saying but my personal preference is to make backspins a little more subtle by bringing the volume down slightly when I do them. I feel they can be a little over powering if the volume is up to high. This is just down to personal preference. Thanks for your watching! 🙏🏻
