RockShox Vivid Testing - Worth the upgrade?

- Testing out new parts is always fun, but it's more fun when you get to test the newest of the new. I blew my RockShox Super Deluxe Ultimate and while she was away getting repaired, I got to test the new Vivid shock.
This video only shows the first 2 rides on the shock, I did ride it a 3rd time. All in all, it's a great shock. But should I upgrade from the Super Deluxe? Not sure.

I recently bought gen 4 Trek rail 9.8 Gx axs. Love the bike, but it came with select+ rear shock which i dont like compared to thrushaft ultimate on my 2022 Trek slash. Kinda thinking about getting this Vivid. One thing that interest me on this thing is that the service period on is much less than superdeluxe. Maybe ill get one. I can get it now for 600 dollar or wait to get it on black friday.
It’s def a good shock. And if you’re buying a new super deluxe or similar, spending the extra money to get this is a no brainer.

It's no X2 it bounces the rear alot we found the same but is softer at lower speeds the compression on the X2 is alot better but doesn't pair well with the Zeb I'm looking for a new coil jsut now I'm very interested in this new Tigon from Cane creek
I’ve never used an X2 only coils and other super deluxes. This does perform like a coil in some situations. That bottom out resistance is pretty good tho. Not sure if the X2 does that.
