Leila is incredible as usual, I just have one comment that might help others. If you want the zoom to happen when you click "Next slide" and not from clicking the zoom image with the mouse, you can do that by having the different "zooms" lined up in order after the main slide. In Leila's example, since the slides/sections were ordered after the main slide, you don't actually need to click with the mouse on that area specifically when presenting. You can just keep clicking next next on your clicker or space and it will do the zooms and returns properly. If, for any reason, your sections aren't in order then you will have to click the zoom item to load the suitable section
What a amazing tutorial! Leila, there's an added sense of motivation and a boost of confidence when watching your tutorials. You just know there's going to be some form of value to add to your life. Thanks a million.
I'm trying to imagine this lovely sister was born with a computer chip.... The way she handles these stuffs even the blind can still make sense out of them!!! Every time I see a pop up video from you, I know, it's worth watching. Thank you for your time
Seriously, I cannot express how much joy you just brought me. I have a separate animation which requires a "slide" effect (5 pics on a slider) but I had the problem of making the animation effective. Then you introduced the Zoom Section" effect. I nearly jumped off my chair!! Honestly, you did someone good! The day is yours! 🥳
Hi Leila, you have no idea about how much I loved your videos. As one of your fan from China, I am learning from your videos no only for improving my productivity but also a standard English. Your talk is explicit in both the logic and pronunciation. Thank you for your good teach!
At the church we use Power Point as an additional tool to preaching. It helps to highlight & also to illustrate certain key points at the service. Great video.
Absolutely one of the best ways to learn. Amazing attention to detail (the mouse is moved exactly to where it needs to be, else it confuses the user when paused somewhere else and similar). Love the fact that it stats with the finished product and then shows how to get there. Thank you!
I am amazed at your way of explaining everything. I have seen many other people explaining Excel and PowerPoint but non of them are so practical in their explainations. You are simply the best
@@LeilaGharani Just an important question, if I may: Is there any way that once a I have created the presentation, somebody else could watch it in their PC if they do not have office 365? I work as a consultant. I do have Office 365 so I can create this effects, but my client has Office 2016 or 2013. Could I save it some how, so that I can send the presentation to my clients and they could use it for a presentation on their own in their computer? Thank you so much
I LOVE your instructional videos.. So SMOOTHE, polished, no fluff, no BS- no wasted yak yak-- all great information to the point and SIMPLE-- and it doesn't hurt that your'e GORGEOUS too..!!!
Thankiew SOOO much!1 I tried using Prezi by signing up but honestly the interface was so complicated and I felt like I didn't have time to learn everything to do my presentation. this was a lifesaver
Thoughts from turning over the compost heap... Many years of Toastmasters taught me that the ultimate goal of any presentation is to "persuade" the audience to adopt a particular course of action. Whether that action be to donate millions to a cause or simply to accept a report makes no difference. The goal is to persuade. Software such as PowerPoint are valuable "persuasion tools". I wonder how many (or rather, how few) users do more than just scratch the surface. Thanks be to people like Leila who challenge us to dig further...
Your explanation on the Zoom feature has answered all my queries within 11.58 minutes..thanks a ton Leila..Keep doing this great work as during this pandemic using Powerpoint has become a hell of a task...but with your videos it has become a lot easier
it is worth saying that the online 365 product doesn't have zoom. But the way I want to use it is in teaching because it allows a top slide/poster which summarises the class but then using zoom to drill down. Thanks for the teach in - it was great!
Thank you, Leila! Could you please please make a video on how you prepare your excel/power point videos? Do you screencast with audio or narrate it afterwards?
making videos need studio set up and lots of other media tools. You need to invest on it. However, free tools you can try are available out there. Good luck !
I was looking for tips on using PPT in Zoom - the presentation media - and got pulled into your "how to use Zoom" the function!! This is really, really great! I never knew those functions were there! Thanks.
that was really helpful...i arranged all my bacteriology ppts in section and then it was much easy for me to read as i have to open only one ppt ...thank you leila...you are the best.
Recently, I have switched to Microsoft 365 and I have a little confusion about using this zoom feature and this video has my problem solved.. Thanks alot
Thanks for your video, it was really helpful for me. I made a Zoom presentation with narrations and exported to video. A couple of observations, number 1, don't speak over the Zoom slides if you have a sub-section because every time you zoom back out to that slide it will repeat the same audio. Number 2, the video was a bit glitchy on the Zoom transitions. As much as I like the idea, I cannot use Zoom to make video content. Maybe it only works well on presentation view, but not when PowerPoint renders it to video.
One of my students used PPT zoom in his presentation! This was a really good video showing me how it works and I look forward to using PPT zoom going forward.
Very good! I suppose it could come handy when introducing the presentation. Instead of bullent points ("I'm going to talk about a, b...x"), those points could be zoom items and each would have its own section. This gave me an excellent of how to easily improve my presentations Again, many thanks!
WOW! Just watched the hacks tut and wondered... how does she do that zoom and bam! Next tut! I'm really enjoying these office tuts... very informative too!
