    Kevin, you saved my life. I am a simpleton who uses English as a second language. Not a great level. So I always had been in a trouble for too difficult or long explanations about tech things. Your explanation is short and effective. And your voice reaches clearly to me. So fantastic and helpful. I will share your video with my friends. Thanks.

    This is like a more restrained version of Prezi. I once made some of the students in my class motion sick once because I got crazy using the various movement transitions in Prezi.

    Hi Kevin, what do we need to do to ensure that the slideshow ends after all the zoomed slides have been navigated through using the animation. A challenge is once the last of the zoom animations is complete, and if you were to click the next slide in the sequence in one of the sections created below would display, instead of the powerpoint just ending. The other way out is that when the last of the animations completes, hit escape. But that leads to ending by showing the powerpoint in the normal mode to the audience.

    Hi Keven, thank you for putting this together, this video has been very helpful for my newest overhaul to my Powerpoint presentation. However, please consider adding more pauses between sentences and especially when transitioning between new areas of content. This is a lot of information and without pause or change in inflection makes it really hard to digest.

    Kevin, your videos are very informative and well structured. I do wish you would slow down a bit and add some inflection and spacing to your narrations. I slow you down to 0.75, which makes it a little easier to follow, but the lack of inflection and spacing between sentences makes it difficult to stay awake. Do keep up the good work.
    Thank you,
    Jim

I know you have done a beginners guide, but I would like to know everything it has to offer, like the webclipper etc. Try and convince me to use OneNote than Evernote as my main note taker. Good Morning, Kevin! Thank you for being my morning wake-up! We are going to be using Zoom meeting for our students so we can interface with them in a visual/auditory way. We teach inter-personal habits for communication. Interaction will be an important part. Chat will be useful. Have I missed one of your presentations where you discuss using chatroom, raising hands, and sending downloads to Zoom meetings from participants? Thank you for all that you do for us. And YES! I do like hearing you before 0700. Again, thank you. GA

    Wow - I've been using PPT for a while and have never tried this - it is really a great feature. Thanks for explaining this! It is a good way to do things if you are not a huge fan of Prezi (I am not one). Thanks so much!! Yet another great presentation - if you can talk about some plug-ins for Powerpoint that you find useful that would be great (i.e. I like Polleverywhere for my students)...but others? Or integrating other programs in to PPT? Thanks so much Kevin! And don't forget - Toronto likes cookies too

    Hi Kevin. How are you. I would like to ask you if is there an official Microsoft app to conect a tablet to a PC, to use it as a second monitor. I would like to use the tablet merged with the PC for online teaching (for example, to draw something in the tablet while teaching in zoom, and to be able to share the tablet screen via zoom in the PC, but then to be able to go back to the PC and share a powepoint, while in zoom lessons). I've seen different apps but I would like some app I can trust (or some insight in how to do it at all in a way that wont mess with my computer). We are still in lockdown and starting the second semester of academic teaching online. Its been very rough... students need more of us, in order to fully understand the topics. I'd like to improve as an online teacher :) Very gratefull for all of your help. Have a nice week!

    Hey!
    I recently used the slide zoom feature to create a nice pitch video for one of my uni-courses, however i encountered a problem. Is it actually possible to have the slides in the "zoom" slide not represented as pictures, but as live updated versions of the specific slides? In my case, i was trying to build something like a "whiteboard" video, where you start with a blank page and then step by step, it would be filled with stuff and in the end, i would have wanted to be able to zoom out to see the whole whiteboard in its full glory. But it didnt really work that way, because in the "zoom" slide, the slides are represented as static pictures. So basically, can you make slide zoom "understand" animations of slides?

    • @lionelschotter4914
      @lionelschotter4914 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      This sounds like a potential feature update request that would be of great value to everyone. Maybe you want to raise a request with Microsoft using the Help menu in Powerpoint and the feedback option. I would vote for that!

    As a content suggestion, would you consider making videos on how to use O365 tools from an iPad? Can’t really find content like that anywhere and believe me, the demand is huge with the whole micro productivity thing going on. Most iPad videos for replacing your ”computer” are referring to replacing Mac but there is a whole field of BYOD and using iPad in the corporate world as well where people are used to work with Windows devices.

    Hi Kevin, I've received Office 365 just recently that's my question is a bit late to your tutorial publication, but hope it's not too late. Is it possible to do zoom, I think it's rather "s;ide zoom" part, like a focus on certain message and then focus again like in a part of the word that's been focused previously there's again emphasis on the point. Example - there's message: "Be smart while on water". And next slide is zoom to "inside of letter a in the message" and there's another message - " dont jump to unknown water". Generally - no to use slides but rather areas of a slide, or use slides in a way that no-one notices, in this case.
