I saw footage of a lady in her house in NC . The House floated, she had on a life jacket. She was able to jump out / away from the house and was rescued out of the FLOOD ( because she had on a life jacket). Keeping you in my 🙏.

Don't ever want to be in your situation ever. Been to St Pete on vacation its a great place. I would NEVER want to live there because these Hurricanes have a landing place & its called Florida. These places in Florida are giving Insurance Companies free reign to gouge every family even if they don't live in these disaster zones ! That is why the Biggest Insurer in Florida is Citizens Insurance which is insolvent. They are years behind in property damage claims & charging sky high premiums for worthless policies ! Evacuate please! Years ago I looked up what the worst case scenario was for Tampa Bay was and it wasn't pretty for Pinellas --- nearly the whole peninsula was under water. Milton could meet or exceed it, so I would evacuate especially in an evacuation zone.

This is why I got myself a very powerful generator and a 20 gallons worth of gas for it. I can still cook and keep my fridge and chest freezer running, and power my AC unit. I’m anticipating power going out for a while.

Jose, I looked up Lakewood Ranch on Google Maps and I realized its topography is just like Diamondhead MS but flatter. Diamondhead is north of the I-10 but still got flooded by the storm surge from Hurricane Katrina which exceeded 30 feet on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Milton could hit Sarasota with a 30 foot-plus storm surge and flood your area --- I know it's not predicted but it's possible; what Katrina did exceeded predictions and defied expectations too!

One problem with these storms is the people with their panic buying. I've seen it many times where people will be filling up several gas cans for their generators causing gas stations to run out of gas. People really should only get enough gas for 2-3 days for their generators because the gas stations will get more gas but buying 2 and 3 times more gas than needed for generators causes some people to be in potentially bad situations if they did not fill up their car's gas tank ahead of time. I don't comment much on videos but I do watch most of your videos and hope you come out of this storm in good shape. You're one of the few actual real people on YT.
😆for my bp I did keto, low carb high meat and eggs and bacon, tuna, hamburger, peanut butter, etc and fruit when I want it, I try really hard to avoid cold cereal hot cereal my numbers used to sky high stage 2 sometimes 3. salt doesnt cause high bp, junk food diet for sure. smoking for sure, use of drugs even legal drugs, we take for granted medications are still drugs, etc. my numbers dropped quite a bit. the nurse looked at me funny, I had been going to that doctor for 30 years. i guess my numbers were solow compared to my normal numbers I had for decades.

I got gas this morning at about 4:30 am. in Lehigh Acres. There was not much traffic on the roads, but the gas station was busy, on its way to being a madhouse.
I have a couple of cases of military MRE's. Totally processed foods that I fell in love with back during the days of the Vietnam War. Today's rations are are much better and suit their purpose well.
Last Wednesday I was getting gas in Oldsmar and one gas pump was shrink wrapped there, and the guy in front of me was filling up a bunch of big gas cans and propane tanks. You would had had to been on it, the middle of last week.

Sodium increase fluid volume in your blood which affects blood pressure. So yes excess amounts of sodium will increase your BP.
