for Users who just need to check the actual data: Black Level: Set to -15 to achieve a nice out-of-camera look. Gamma: Cine4 for a Canon-like look. (Cine2 and S-Log for experts) Black Gamma: Range: Set to Wide. Level: Up to -7 for more "crushed" blacks. Knee: Set to Auto. Color Mode: Pro for standard use (Cinema as an alternative) Saturation: Set to +5. Color Phase: Set to +2. Color Depth (for Canon-like color science): Red: +5 Green: +5 Blue: +5 Cyan: -3 Magenta: -3 Yellow: -5 (recommended to reduce skin tone distortion). Detail: Set to -7 to soften Sony's sharpening.
Ya the point of this video is that most people choose some because they give you more for your money. Sony gives a crap about their customers. Canon lacks in features and just falls behind. So I'm making this video for those using a Sony and want better colours.
Now tell us how to get Sony sharpness on Canon camera.
😂 LOVE THAT. My answer is, you will need to spend at least $10,000 on a c200 to get anywhere close.
Buy better glass , like sigma ART
This comment had me laughing AHAHAHA
The lenses are responsible for sharpness not the camera
Simply buy a Canon mirrorless.
Black level -15
Gamma cine 4
Black gamma range white -7
Colour mode pro
Saturation 5
Colour depth R 5
Thnx
Note that Color Depth DOES NOT remove color like Saturation does, it mostly acts like a luminance control, making colors brighter or darker.
Interesting video! Did you find out too how to get Fujifilm colours to Sony cameras?
This profile only for shooting videos or also for photos? 🤔
I think it's better to shoot in raw and adjust in post
Color depth changes the luminosity of the colors and not the saturation!
Great video, I will try this out for sure!
