Great video. However the "Request remote control" was missing? One instruction is missing. In my Account/Settings/In Meetings basic I needed to enable: Remote Control During screen sharing, the person who is sharing can allow others to control the shared content" Worked fine then. love your videos, very clear and to the point - thanks.
Great video, easy to understand. The Request Remote Control option doesn't come up in the drop down box for me. ☹This feature would be a big help for my elderly Mom when she gets stuck doing something on her laptop. She lives in a different state so to have access to her screen remotely would be a game changer. Bummed that I can't do this.
Thanks for the video sir. But the person is only able to control the shared screen only, how can we give control to access the pc to that person. please reply for me.
Good, informative training. Thanks for the information on the new feature. So many awesome tech tools out there these days that it blows mind. Keep up the good work! :)
I don't see this option is it for iPads only? I did change some setting on the zoom website - perhaps this has changed in 2 years since the video came out.
Great video !!! Well explained too ! If I share my screen with someone, can they see or or track what I am typing on my keyboard ex: if I type a password to a site we need to both look at? Thanks so much for your help!
Once you have remote control, the other person can disable it by clicking on the screen. This can be disruptive. A better way to do it is with Zoom Remote Desktop.
i wouldnt let anybody control my screen...id only allow them to move the arrow(pointer) but no clicking...ill decide and do the clicking. ..How/can this be done with Zoom?
Can someone tell me two things: how to keep the zoom camera on the shared screen, so I can see my meeting partner: and how to give remote control access on an IPAD
When I am hosting a Zoom meeting (from a Windows PC) and a certain participant is sharing their screen on their iPad, the option to request remote control is not visible under my “View Options”. Also, they do not have the usual option available to Annotate, for example a whiteboard that I have put up. For other participants using PCs and Apple Macs, this is not problem. I think the cure is a Setting needed on their iPad, but I cannot find out what it is. Are you able to help please ?

This was a great refresher on how to take remote control of someone else's screen. Thanks for making this short and informative video!
This did not work no matter how many times I changed my settings. The only options I have is Enter/Exit Fullscreen and Original size.

Hi! Great video :) I have a question: do you need a paid plan to do this or can you do it on the free account? Thanks!
I don't have the option in the pull-down menu at the top. Mine says "stop remote access" but I haven't gotten it yet. How do I ask for it?
