This tutorial focuses how to share screen on Zoom for Mac, Macbook, Apple devices, but the steps are the same for PC Windows desktop and laptop. The basic Zoom share screen feature allows screen sharing of a slideshow on powerpoint through to some more powerful things such as screen share iPad, iPhone, tablet and phone, as well as being able to share a second camera.

I have tried downloading to Google one drive, Microsoft one drive, only to realise (via your video) that all I needed to do was to click desktop one and then go into Canva. Just discovered this, have been using Zoom for individual client meetings but tomorrow (!) I am the host for an online team meeting.. I feel much more confident now.
Incidentally the situation where you want an audio in background and screen sharing text happens a lot with online church services where people want to sing together. Warning, participants need to mute themselves otherwise the various lag times make a cacophony.

Great guidance on the screen sharing aspect. You asked what I'd like to see; Screen sharing with PowerPoint AND multiple monitors. I get myself into a heck of a tangle and am sure there's easier ways to do it. Sure, there are other YTs on the topic, but you have a great instructional style, so I'd like to hear your take on it.

You stayed on topic, you didn't explain things super fast to make the info fit within the time length of your video, and the content is excellent. Thanks for this. Struggling as to how to explain to my students how to share screen. It's so easy, but so hard to explain to those who can't see the screen, so thanks for this. Just one tip. I'm a language teacher and share sound only audio tracks all the time in my classes, so that's probably a more practical use than karaoke - well, for me, anyway! Please feel free to use the suggestion in a later video.

Hey Tim! I have a ? re: the 6:10 mark in this video with what you said about compression. As you demonstrated, would it be more effective to prepare such video ahead of time (considering user and receiving end wifi/internet) to prevent audio and video lag on the receiving end? Also would you know if it's helpful that the youtube video be compressed and upload in a specific manner for zoom (or it doesn't matter)--i,e, 720p, web optimized etc? Thanks for this video
