It did have a few flaws that make it harder for me now as a more high level videographer like the screen flipping up instead of sideways, but it seems like Sony has fixed a lot of those troubles with the a6700!
@@VictorLafortezai've tried pushing the a6600 to its limit and one huge setback the camera has is the fact that it doesn't have enough color information. Great video. I just ordered the Sigma 16mm, because I thought it was a very sharp lens. But In most of your shots I see the sides are blurry. Please tell me that is a stylistic choice and not the way that lens behaves... Hoping I didn't make a mistake with the 16mm.
@@VictorLaforteza Thanks for the info! Though could you please be a bit more specific. I‘m close to buying a S5 ii, because you can take stills with LUTs applied. I‘d really love that for travelling and when I take snapshots, cause I don‘t wanna edit files there but still want colors I like. So far I thought the S5 was the only camera to do that but now I saw that some of these Sony cameras let you do that for video but I‘m yet to find out, if it works for stills as well. Cheers
does a6700 have a separate setting on video and photo? If I have a fx30 then do you think it is good to have a6700 for phoyography? two same sensor cameras.
Yeah! It has a hybrid setting so when you flip from video to photo it saves their own settings. Depends on what features you need for photography but the image quality will be the same!
Im looking for a budget camera for shooting music videos and do a lot of slow mo thats how i found this cam with 4k 120 fps do u think its a good choice for me?
I think if you want clean 4k120 you'd need to get at least the a7siii or the fx3 but that's double the price of the a6700. If you're okay with the noise on the a6700, it would be the best option for that price.
Looking to buy the a6700 with a few diff lens, my only worry is the over heating issues. I live in Australia and summer days are 40 deg Celsius. Would this overheat quickly just recording 4k24? Don’t really care for 60/120fps but if it can’t record continuously in 4k24 for an hour or so that would really kill it for me.
If it’s continuous recording like an interview setup, yes it’ll overheat within 45-90 mins depending on how hot the ambient temp is. But if it’s burst shooting all day, it can handle it. I took it to Korea and shot travel stuff for the whole day at 30-35 degree Celsius weather and it didn’t overheat.
Victor, why don't you do a "low light performance" with the Zve10 using the 16mm, for we can see what is possible with this kit. I know you would extract a lot with this lens and camera!!
Im using canon m50 but saving up for sony a6700. Hopefully it will be worth it since the 4k on m50 the autofocus suffer and its getting old so time for it to retire.

This video deserves millions of views like wow
big compliment! thank you!!
5:45 what a shot!
mt fuji!!!
May I ask what song you used at 0:38 ? I want to practice it on the piano
Sorry it’s been a while since I made this video and I don’t remember anymore! :(
@@VictorLaforteza nooo 🥲 hahah shazam also didnt work haha. Anyway, thanks for your response ✅️
coming from a Canon m50 mark ii, I was really wanting to try out full frame (like the A7 IV) but honestly this camera seems just as good
Great video. I just ordered the Sigma 16mm, because I thought it was a very sharp lens. But In most of your shots I see the sides are blurry. Please tell me that is a stylistic choice and not the way that lens behaves... Hoping I didn't make a mistake with the 16mm.
it's added in post so no need to worry!
Where is the camera cooler? I dont see it listed in the description
amzn.to/3BeCScr
But how do you colour grade your videos? They are gorgeous 😍
got a few tutorials on my channel!
I recommend getting the g master 16-55 2.8 and a prime lens with a 1.4 f
thanks
Great video, beautiful images!
Can you tell me, if baking LUTs works with jpg or heif images?
depends on the LUTs but it could work!
Cheers
Hey bro…can i ask what text template do u use for the yellow/orange in the video’s thumbnail?
what lens did you use for the macro shots?
Sirui 50mm T2 Jupiter
I really want to get this camera for filmmaking but what’s ur thoughts on the overheating issue I heard about ?
it's great just can't do long recording times like an hour+ podcast or streams.
@@VictorLaforteza ok thanks I really wanna use it for 30mins short films any thoughts on that ?
should be okay!@@justinxdd5860
does a6700 have a separate setting on video and photo? If I have a fx30 then do you think it is good to have a6700 for phoyography? two same sensor cameras.
Yeah! It has a hybrid setting so when you flip from video to photo it saves their own settings. Depends on what features you need for photography but the image quality will be the same!
Do you recommend this one over the Canon R50?
have no experience or knowledge about the Canon R50 :( sorry! BUT this camera I can recommend for everyone tbh.
You’re so good it’s almost discouraging haha. My footage never looks this good. What ND filters do you use?
Hahaha all about just having fun and learning to push the footage! I currently use NiSi true color VND
This looks so gooood😮 3:46
Is this camera good for podcast or streaming?
1080p sure, but 4k it might overheat.
are these shot in 4k 24fps or 4k 60fps?
4k24
Im looking for a budget camera for shooting music videos and do a lot of slow mo thats how i found this cam with 4k 120 fps do u think its a good choice for me?
the 4k120 is mediocre on this camera. You might find it noisier than usual.
@@VictorLaforteza okay do you have any ideas or tipps what i should get then :00
I think if you want clean 4k120 you'd need to get at least the a7siii or the fx3 but that's double the price of the a6700. If you're okay with the noise on the a6700, it would be the best option for that price.
@@VictorLaforteza thanks for the answersss
@@VictorLaforteza over the fx30..?
How did you get that filmic look with the photos at the end??????
Lightroom edits! I used my preset pack for those
@@VictorLaforteza where could I get these presets? I’m new to editing as a whole. Like literally for the first time lol
@@Spigglicious You can get them on my website but I suggest playing with lightroom to know the ins and outs of editing first!
I did a zv-e10 giveaway hahaha so I don’t have that camera anymore
Is this blurriness at sides done deliberatly with grading?
Yup!
Im using canon m50 but saving up for sony a6700. Hopefully it will be worth it since the 4k on m50 the autofocus suffer and its getting old so time for it to retire.
Definitely a good step up! The m50 is a great starter cam but you’re right it’ll start to show it’s age!
what are RGB distortion in the corner of the clip? how to do that
I have a tutorial on my channel called prism blur!
@@VictorLaforteza yes I found it do u think I can get a similar result in Premier?
@@PriM-z2k yup! should have a similar effect on premiere!
Hi, for the 6700 and fx30, is the slog and colour grading function on them the same?
Yes
Hi Victor! How many light sources do you have here?
for the talking head?
@@VictorLaforteza Yes. I really liked it
@@sasha.ti. one light source! 90cm softbox on the left of the frame with grids!
@@VictorLaforteza Thanks!
which lens do you think is best for photography with this camera?
Can’t go wrong with sigma lenses!
How do you get the bored corners? I love to know what it's called if it's in da vinci?
prism blur :)
What lens do you recommend if this is your first camera and you need lens?
Sigma 16/30 1.4 :) or you could get the sigma 18-50 2.8
What lens do you have on the camera at 3:13?
TTartisan 50mm f2 !
@@VictorLaforteza thanks!
Stunning videography!!!
Thanks a ton!
What about the overheating issues?
just dont do long extensive recordings like 1 hr+ with 4k and you should be good.
