1979 Mercedes 300D ONLY 150K MILES

For sale is a legendary 1979 Mercedes 300D with only 150K Miles. This vehicle has had only two owners in the past, lots of service records, and original dealer books/ manuals. It holds a SALVAGE TITLE for an accident in the front I believe that happened many years ago. The car was owned by a family in Carmel, CA for many years. It runs and drives great. Mechanically the car is very sound. Cosmetically the car is as shown in the video. Not very much rust, and really only has some on the driver and passenger front fender for whatever reason. The floors and remainder of the whole car is rust free. Check out the video and see for yourself. The interior is in very good shape though. All the windows should be functioning. Come check it out and inspect everything yourself. Mechanically it runs and drives great. The transmission shifts smoothly through all gears. If that's the original, motor (never been rebuilt), I'm impressed and would be sold on it if I didn't already have an '83 240D w/ stick shift and 180k on rebuilt motor, starting up like a gas engine and no oil consumption. Any W123 Diesel whose engines I see living up to the reputations are like diamonds to me. And to me the 300D Diesel non-turbo is the rarest one of those. Anyway, I like the video.
