Very high quality content. Not just emotions, but real facts about the use in life. They showed how comfortable it would be for the second passenger, explained in an accessible way what is and is not worth getting from the option. Described the character of the bike well.
    One of the best reviews.

Half the people commenting "This is not a true monster anymore" probably don't even have a Ducati dealership in their city let alone own one and know what a monster is. I owned the aircooled 696 and although it was a really good bike i think it could definitely use some modern refinements. I would take 18 kilo of weight saving over a dated trellis frame any day of the week! great review.

Thx a lot for the thorough review! I must say I‘m super impressed by (and envy) your mastery of the English language - having watched the German and English version of the video I had the impression that you feel even more confident in English than in German. Awesome!

Good review! You covered it all really in my mind.
And great English laguage ... As a Swede that lives in the United States, I gotta say. It is.
Something many "Germanic laguage speakers" do not succeed in as well as you did , impressed ... ...
As a 2018 Monster 821 rider myself. I do not mind the new Monster at all. Do I love my 821. Yess , absolutely. But I do not mind evolution and progress either. They really stick to the original concept fun , light, naked and accessible with the New Monster. Using current technology. And I hope it will be successful. I might look in to one, but I will still keep my 821 still though lol ... ;-)

Without firing it up, we would'nt even know what sort of motor is in there underneath all the plastic.

Great that you do it in English so that many people around the world can listen to you [I am English and appreciate your time and effort]. I am looking at this machine as a possible purchase. This class has become the most competitive in recent times with some great models to choose from [Triumph 765 Street Triple R and RS, KTM Duke 890 and 890R, MT09, kawasaki Z900 etc]. Does this bike have a fuel gauge? And do the mirrors work ok [do they vibrate and so blur the image]? I have not seen you before here on TH-cam but will definitely tune in and watch more of your bike reviews. Take care and ride safe.

Nice bike & review. Very comprehensive. The only thing I don't like about this bike is the lack of adjustable suspension which seems strange as the rest of the bikes seems quite premium.

Great review - thank you! I am really interested in this bike. As a street bike (not for track), how do you think it compares to the new Trident and Tuono 660?

821 cold start another league. #ufff. popcorn is ready. I'm already having a hard time trying to like the new monster optically, but the acoustics aren't making things easier.

thanks, great review. the bike is almost as beautiful as you. Would you feel tired on that riding position after lets say 30 - 60 minutes of riding?

The new look has made the Monster more "generic" although I do think it looks better than the previous model. Great, thorough review - thanks.

Ummmm ...this new Ducati Monster is model what exactly? I see you compare it to the 821, but I don't know what this is. Is it a 822 or a 921?

Good Review .. You cover the weight seat height price ect.. Ducati now offers some more affordable Models.. I think the Yamaha MT-09 offers a bit more for a lower price but the Ducati is very light too ..
It seems competition is upping the bar.. I like the adjustable seat height.. Yes a V-Twin motorcyle can be narrower..

Huge step forward comparing to old Monster. I really like it, looks like my next bike. The sound is the only thing I dont like, it sounds like my cb500f

Have a pipe recore/repack , an exhaust specialist will do it for under 250 euro , best option without the cost of new pipes .. and it will sound fantastic , deep rumble.

Very good ride review. This the first I've seen.
Can you please give a little more description of the difference in riding experience between this model and the 821? And if you've ridden the KTM Duke 790/890 those too. I'm specifically interested in suspension compliance differences, as well as handling dynamics -- agility vs stability, etc. And any other differences you can think of that didn't make it into the video. Thank you!

I'm actually fine with the disappearance of the trellis frame... Sure, the trellis frame looked nice, but to me it was also starting to look more "dated" than "retro". I would *much* rather a manufacturer focused on weight savings than tradition. I already thought the newer Monsters had almost completely lost the traditional Monster look anyway with the off-round headlight and kind of ugly exhaust, so between the cleaner lines and lighting upgrades I think this looks better than what it replaces 🤷‍♂️
Here's hoping for a Monster 1200 replacement along these lines soon!
