Timelapse: quick video that shows how to do something Tutorial: explanatory video that teaches you something I see comments from people saying my "tutorial" is bad, and the video is not a tutorial, it is a TIMELAPSE
Like most head-modelling tutorials the instructions are basically "Find a head model somebody else already made, import it into Maya and copy it". The whole point in looking for tutorials is wanting to know how to model a head without only tracing around a head somebody else made.
I kind of wish it was a tutorial as it looks easy to do, but without the audio explaining why, it is still an interesting timelapse video showcasing a great workflow.
good video, but why not make it slower instead of a timelapse? Unless people prefer it I guess, but I have to slow it down to see what's happening still.
I know this isn't a tutorial. But I did follow along with you, now I have a slightly warped version of what you ended with. Thanks for the fun! I'll take this all the way though with getting a body and modelling the rest like eyes, mouth, hair, clothes, ect. Then I'll give it some basic visemes and upload it to VRChat. It might be an abomination, they turn out like that a lot. (often intentionally) haha Also your modelling style is different than mine, so using your tricks was strange to me, but clearly works great. Heads are always something I struggle a bit with.
can I apply my modifies before I join the head to the neck? can someone possibly reply I am currently doing my modeling(EDIT: also I tried joining the head and neck as you said but it did not work as plan Idk how to explain what happened)
Even though it is a time-lapse, it is a very good video for beginners to study modeling using topology. There is no need for a voice. Could you please upload a tutorial video?
Guys... THIS VIDEO IS A TIMELAPSE !
stop commenting that this video is a tutorial
:)

it would be helpful if you put that in the title/description.

Hey, I don't know how active you are on here but I was wondering how do you add ears + I don't know how you took two faces and made them one
This looks like a good method. Starting with a sphere primitive automatically puts conversion to the ears where you need the density.
Incredible! You're able to achieve so much volume in a short time this way. Thanks for sharing

Create your own references usig AI.

Mmmmm... yeah, I see what you mean, but what I meant was I want to learn how to draw a head without reference at all.
1) This is not a tutorial
2) Using references is a crucial part of 3d modeling to keep things in proportion

You are a crap troll.
@@giacomogiuliano Shut up.

Hello i am a beginner and the modeling you showed is really very instructive can you share the link of the reference picture?

What is the tool you are using around 6:09? To expand the faces on the head?
YOOO THIS IS SO UNDER-RATED BY A THOUSAND MILES!

I actually never thought of doing that for the head!
hey, good job. May i know where i can find this image
there were 2 ngons left on the cheek and under chin, what did you do to them?

How can i find the picture template? This picture is very good to give me modeling Head
where can i get my hands on this version of blender
in official site

I personally wouldnt use a UV sphere for the base mesh of this kind of stuff. Uv sphere has weird topology at the top, its triangles.
What would you recommend?
he fixed those problems.
Hello Angel, I followed this video, it helped tremendously. TQ for sharing it here! 😊
amigo sera que nos puede compartir el archivo de blender
nice work, thanks for sharing knowledge!!!
*Nice.*

Very helpful
thanks❤❤❤❤❤
You’re talented af imma try this
this is very helpful
I mean, raw dogging it with the knife tool is yet another valid way of doing it, and another proof of how talentless I am
