Well, considering the state of the planet when it comes to pollution, the people who sell plastic watches with movements that you can't service, should spend at least 1 year in jail. This is junk, soon food for fish. I love your channel though.
With the Sistem51 movement you really have to be comfortable with the thought that it could die at any moment, which in some sense makes you appreciate it more while you're wearing it. I own one for about 8 years. After a year of forgetting about it, I wore it and noticed that it was a few hours behind at the end of the day (even though I manually wound it before wearing it). I thought "oh well this is probably the end for it, might as well get what it still has left". After wearing it a few times it got back to keeping perfect time.
Simple answer. No. So many good solid watches up to the price of this one. Just as an experiment, hold in hand a Seiko GMT next to any of the swatch collabs, and you'll know instantly it's down right stupid to pay on a plastic toy, more than that GMT. So i'm not saying don't get one, but if you just don't have money to throw away on quirky collectables, and you're looking for a watch, this is not it.
Ok... Heard about this watch and actively think to get one... Thanks for letting me know the non-serviceability issues... Didn't know that! I think this is not for me now... 😮
I was lucky to get it(the white one) in Spain so when I went back to my country Mexico…I opened and I saw it again and I didn’t like it 😢 the sad story it’s not the one I just told you…The sad story is that I can’t sell it…no body wants it…any way thank you for your videos I really enjoyed!
I don’t like that I can only buy one if I live in or visit chosen cities. Where I live should not dictate if I am allowed to buy a watch. This is the main reason I wouldn’t buy one.
Let's be fair is it worth the money no is there a better choice for the cash erm yeah 100%. BUT is it a cool watch yes it is. I've been into several AD's looking at watches and the conversation always turns to my Antarctic with people being shocked at how cool it is. The original straps are horrible but change for a better Nato or rubber strap and they look fantastic.
400 bucks / 300 quid?? WTF? I can buy two better, serviceable, saphire crystal, stainless steel case watches for that. Or one really, really, really good one. I passed at the Moonswatch and got me a Pagani Mission to Alaska instead, and it will be a hard pass for this one, too.
'Is the Swatch Homage to The 50 Fathoms Blancpain worth it. No of course it's not. That's generally the same for all Swatches their quirky and this is defiantly not a real Blancpain. I do like the look so I bought a Chinese copy of the copy for £42 delivered and it has an automatic movement and does look good and if I wanted it could be serviced unlike the Swatch/Blancpain.
Can’t say it’s worth buying though I’d say the same for the real Blancpain No Rads. I guess for the No Rad enthusiasts who can’t afford the real ones (most people) this may be the closest they’ll get. I have seen a couple other brands I haven’t tried make a copy at similar a price point as well but Swatch owns Blancpain so maybe this is a better buy. Also Squale made a limited edition one a couple years ago which probably would have been a better buy than even a real Blancpain one given their shared history and price difference ($2500 vs $25000-50000)

The sadder truth is that you tried to skalp a poor sucker.
For 230€ I can get an Orient Kamasu. Enough said.
Nah never liked any of these ones .. maybe the new black one but not enough to get it at all. I hear we getting a moon snoopy watch next
Frankly thoroughly enjoy it alot....
Material value 20 bucks, everything else is marketing and hipe. Get a proper Seiko or a Tzuiosa for the same price
im ok with everything, but not serviceable kinda turns me off
Dear Andrew,
I was wondering what you think of Casio mrw 200 line .
Can you also do a review of this one?
Eager to see your next video .
Cheers
Noted! 😎

Looks fun

No.
Waw nice watch
It appears be very toyish - how much does a watch like this cost?

I wouldn't even part with £25 for that garbage - especially when you could get a VASTLY superior Casio for £20.
Wish it was serviceable

Could always replace the sistem 51 movement with the cheap chinese movement if it conks out.

It's worth $50 and no more!
Toy ⌚ junk
What is the purpose of the rotating bezel? Does it work as an egg timer ⏲️?
better for oven chips!
