Mordex scythe Dsig is the one I see the most, whenever I get in orange, the Mordex player just forgets that light attacks exist and spam this one move on the edge
I would add hattori spear dsig to the list. Ever since that force buff, it has become a genuinely crazy sig. If you knock someone offstage, you can slide charge it in the path of thier recovery for a free kill in orange. Yet at the same time, it also has use as a get off me tool when your opponent gets in. The sig us surprisingly fast, so you can just throw it out if, say, your opponent jumps over your nlight. I get that it has little use outside of those, but it is so insane in those situations that I think it deserves way more credit use it gets.

Sidra: I almost never see anyone using her sword ssig or cannon dsig, cannon dsig seen less Mordex: his gauntlets nsig is very rarely used, even in tournaments. Being a mordex main my self, (only lvl38) I rarely even use it. Probably got around 10 kills maybe with it? It has a really cool machanic: the longer you hold it, the lower he goes, but it's sad not seeing it
do you have any tips on how to adapt to the opponent? i often struggle trying to do so and get distracted then falling into my habits. loving the content :)
Trust me just attack and pay attention to where they dodge it’s usually spot dodges or dodging into the stage when they’re getting threatened off the stage
Another Cross Main here! If you land this sig at a low damage, you can often catch people with recovery right after. It's dodgeable but they usually don't expect it
Val gauntlets n sig and either her sword side sig on a large of using side sig on the side of the stage bc she does a flip then uses her sword on stage on ledge it hits slights off stage but whenever you gc then her flip hits the side of the stage then uses her sword it will hit upwards
i would've thrown Thatch's sword Ssig up there. pretty sure his sword dlight > gc ssig is true (or at least unjumpable), and it's hitbox is kinda ridiculous. plus its a 2 part which hits like a truck
It really depends on what you feel more comfortable using. People tend to say keyboard is better because you press all the buttons with different fingers which makes it easier to hit fast combos, but if you can land hits more consistently on controller than on keyboard, go with it
Every Azoth sig is amazing, axe nsig is also super good after a nair EDIT: Cross' gauntlets dsig is like Jiro's sword dsig and people don't really talk about Jiro's, right? I prefer Jiro because it spikes down, it's a very safe edgeguard

I saw tournament players do that too.. it’s extremely hard to punish and I don’t think it’s underrated
I was scratching my head when eggsoup mentioned that sig. Imo it's just *overshadowed* by gauntlets dsig, but it's still very very rated.

Lin Fei Katar D-sig. No one talks about it but I can't tell you how I said hello to the blast zone due to a good Lin Fei doing this on edge.
If you play in low gold or silver, you can also do side light n sig. it does like 45 damage.
hehehehe as a 2200 elo orion main, people really underestimate the range of the lance dsig. Its a nice edgeguarding tool.
