I wondered how I can change or delete the transform marker. You can see the green marker at the bottom of the clip but cannot do anything with it. It would also be great to have a play-button which always starts from the beginning but perhaps there is a shortcut I don't know of. Anyway, its a great software and thank you for the tutorials.

I'm thinking that it might be hardware related, either the mic or computer, as my audio along with music comes out fine. So maybe you can try out a different mic or on a different computer if you have one available.
What do you use to record your screen? I have newly installed Manjaro Linux and i tryed to use VLC Media player but then the video laggs even though it does not when I play the game so I want to try out a different Recording software and I would really apreciate help.
I use Simple Screen Recorder and OBS. I did tutorials on those programs which you can find in my TH-cam How To and OBS Playlists although it is for Linux Mint and not Manjaro. But once you get it installed, it should be the same process.

If one loads many clips, I find that the ends of the clips are out of sight and can no longer see them. And if I squeeze them together by moving the slider, I can see the ends but everything is compressed and so small that it becomes hard to click on a clip to edit it. So is there any way that one can see each clip in full size with a lot of clips loaded. I am new with this software and so far love it.
I'm not sure at this point how to view it as you're wanting besides having a large monitor. But if I find a solution that works, might make a video on it.
@@GeekoutdoorsBrand I use a 27 Inch Monitor so that may be a good size. I think I have solved the problem. Let say one has now attached 6 clips and the end of clip 6 is off the map, or off the Monitor and one can not see where to add clip 7. Now here is the solution. Move that slider with the blue line just below the effects Icon and slide it till all the current clips are squeezed together and one now has lots of room on the right to add and edit a new clip as the clips that are now compressed made room to the right and still work perfect in every way. I found that this method works real good and it may be the only way its done. If one wants to edit a clip that is now compressed and hard to see, just move that slider in the opposite direction to increase the size of the clips.

Sir, fonts of unicode system in Indian language, in windows 8.1 version, is not accepting in Openshot 19.4.4 version. Any remedies or tricks to overcome this ?20-12-19.

First do the text lines in mspaint and save it and then, overlay as picture, with the help of chrome remove the background color, then it will look like transparent over the video. It works well. I use Manjaro Linux. But not all of the animated titles will render A few are still telling me I need blender v.2.80 or higher even though I have v. 3.1.2. Two examples that don't work are Snow and Lens Flare.

Well you can do video overlays or Picture in Picture in Openshot...I did create a Tutorial on that in the Openshot playlists. I'm not sure if that's what you're referring to.
Hey everyone, I find the video very useful. However, when I add a title over a video, the title is visible from underneath, and only a little fragment of it. I have a feeling it has something to do with the background colour, but there's no option of making the background transpartent, or any other option that would be simular to the one in powerpoint 'bring to the front'. tried it with no joy, still trying to get this openshot working properly again, worked first time i downloaded blender, know it wont recognise paths for both blender or inkscape. i have power uninstalled each program and re installed and the correct paths are registering in the preferences but im still getting he error message.
Why is nobody showing how to move the title. Not animate it but drag and drop it to a certain location in the video. Let's say I want to position my name captioned above my head if it's a group photo. Does it force us to use presets only?

Yes there is a Text tool however as you probably saw by video, not actually the "simplest" to just add text and adjust. Not sure about issues you're having but I'd recommend using latest version and also looking to help forums on Openshot as well.
Np besides the initial setup, Openshot works the same on all platforms so the tutorials should work. And if it doesn't, then of course some research and work will have to be done on user's end.

I've had that issue before, but I don't remember exactly how to fix it. You probably just have to run as an administrator or change your private network settings. Hopefully you can figure it out 👍
administrative tasks? Software manager? I dont see that anywhere. Im pretty computer savvy but Im lost my friend, youre going way too fast for a beginner. And I concider myself advanced. All I have are (Programs and features) and (Administrative tools) I cant highlight, CUT AND PASTE from the CMD window either :(
Are you using Linux or is this for Windows? If you're using Linux, then the Software Manager stuff is pretty basic and it's the main way to get new software so not sure how to make that any simpler.

Hmmm I'm not sure as going through the steps I've done here in my video has worked for me.
The track 2 will normally behind track 1 so it wont display. For the titleto display you need to use transform as shown in the video.

Hmmm not sure what you're referring to but in the video I do go over setting your Blender/Inkscape paths.
If you're using Linux, you can type which blender in the console, and you'll immediately get the full path of the blender program

Does openshot reduce background noise
I have a tutorial on how to do this. You can look for Audacity as there's not a good way to do this in Openshot in my opinion.

Christ that animated title rendering is heavy on resources. I'm running a 6 core i7 with 48GB RAM and it sure does take some time
I've downloaded latest window 10 version pc wont let me open to to threat of corruption.
Hmmm that's odd maybe check security or Antivirus settings. I use this in Linux so but have tried it previously on Windows 10.
I've had that issue before, but I don't remember exactly how to fix it. You probably just have to run as an administrator or change your private network settings. Hopefully you can figure it out 👍

Are you using Linux or is this for Windows? If you're using Linux, then the Software Manager stuff is pretty basic and it's the main way to get new software so not sure how to make that any simpler.

It's very difficult to bring blender with openshot
It is a slower process.

yes, if you go to the effects tab and scroll down you should be able to find the "chromakey" effect

Hmmm I'm not sure as every laptop is different. Maybe try it again on a new project otherwise you might have to do further research or visit the Openshot forums.

instead of this you can just do the text and put it in, it doesnt have much animations but its the same
Unfortunately I only use Openshot on Linux so maybe there are other Tutorials on TH-cam that might be Windows specific.
