Gout Gout is a great catchy name!! He’s reminds me so much of Bolt!! He’s definitely the next big super star and I hope he makes it to the next Olympics!
WU18 Record is 10.06 (+2.0) by Christian Miller @'23 US U20 Champs, 'Guot Guot's' 10.17 (+0.9) is #6 all-time. His 20.04 (+1.5) is WU18 #2 all-time just ahead of Bolt's 20.13 (0.0) & behind Knighton's 19.84 (+0.3) which he ran when he came 3rd @'21 US OLY Trials when he was 17.5yrs old. Yeah he's going to train with Coach Brauman & Lyles just as fellow teenage AUS sprinter Torrie Lewis will be training with Coach Meuwly & Femke/Lieke Klaver. So disrespectful by those keyboard warriors questioning the kid's age! Has been confirmed that he''ll continue to run the 100m but it won't be his primary focus @AUS Nationals in '25 where the plan is to run the U20 100m & Senior 200m events. His next planned competition is the Queensland State Champs (March 13-16), then 200m @WA Continental Gold Tour Meet in Melbourne on March 29 before AUS Nationals on April 10-14.
Man that kid is so super fluid smooth 🫡 & relaxed with beautiful mechanics (Arm & leg 🦵coordina- tion that not even the pros can do better) & with what he already has with more refinement & good atmosphere surrounding him he has the potential to just maybe surpass the speed "King Bolt" maybe😂!!! Amen 🙏!!!
His top end speed looks impressive because he is running against slow runners. Let's see how he does running against better competition.

@@audreydavis45 His speed endurance is already elite. Apparently, he ran 9.36 for the second half of his 200m run. There's maybe 5 other seniors that can do this at the moment. And his pure speed is also plain to see. For the 100m he just lacks the raw power for the first half of the race.
@@DavidDaniels-hf3sb I’m hope I’m wrong as well I hope he’s great but already comparing him to Bolt lets me know, this is a money thing for some people hopefully he keeps his family close to him
@zlmdragon. yes of course. He is getting results, perhaps the word hype was wrong. And I'm all for it. But I've seen too many juniors fizzle. And in Australia where sprinting success is scarce, I fear it may be too much as the pressure being piled onto him is huge. His body is still developing so he needs to ensure he doesn't overdo it and stay healthy as he grows. Michael Johnson said that there's always a risk and he'll need the right team around him.
Y'all always delivering solid content.

There can only be 1 Usain Bolt
his 100m start was not the best but his top end is diabolical
Next Bolt? .. he’s the first Gout Gout..
That top end is not normal

Been waiting for this take
He will be the one to break the 19.19 200m
😮
This kid is being setup for a big fall, watch
I hope you are wrong, but I am afraid you are correct.
I agree. I'm a former Australian athlete and I am deeply concerned about all the hype. Too much for such a young lad.
@trackandfieldarchive what hype? I see results
