Good video. Thanks
Thank you! Appreciate it 🤙
have a 2010 rxv that is making a passenger side clanking sound when driving that aligns to the rpms. is that a sign of bearings? seams to be worse with weight.
That definitely sounds like it could be bearings. If you can jack it up off the ground and get someone to give it just a small press on the accelerator pedal. See if you can isolate if it is coming from the wheel area or the differential. If its the wheel area then this video may help if not you may need to check the gears/bearings inside the differential. I have another video about the input shaft and i had an issue on this cart on those bearings.
Forgot the most important item, Grease the Bearing! Otherwise you'll be replacing them again in the not to distant future.
Hey Ken, Great point that I definitely missed! I forgot to mention that these closed bearings are pre-packed with greased though. If we were working with open bearings (no casing), we would definitely want to pack them.
Do you have links to where you purchased the bearings and axle from? Thanks!
I guess that would be useful! 😂🤦♂️ I updated the description to have the exact kit i used in the video. First link in the parts needed section! Thanks for letting me know i missed that 🤙
Thanks Justin. Great video by the way.
