Thanks as always Ryan. Used this to change the brake assemblies on a CC DS. My axles came out by hand which was nice. I already had those Channel Lock snap ring pliers linked and they failed miserably. Too much flex between the bits. I grabbed a set of Icons from Harbor Freight and the rings came off first try. Thanks again.

This video was so helpful! My 1994 club car carryall transaxle uses a wider bushing which I could not find anywhere for sale. I was unable to pull them off so I used the smaller size bushing and only pressed it down to slightly behind the clip ring slot. Hopefully no problems doing this.

Hey Ryan, I can’t find the video of you taking the transaxle apart. Did you not post that one? I’m doing the same thing to my DS and wanted to see what you did. Thanks for all the great videos. They hep me every day bro.

I see that your hubs had quite a bit of rust. Can you wire brush the rust off, and then paint them with primer?
Or is that a waste of time?
Can the studs in the rotor be replaced with stainless steel or brass to prevent rust.
I guess you would have to know what the standard threading would be so that you make sure that your new studs, work with the lug nuts.
Do you think that a 14 or 15 inch automobile wheel would have the 4 bolt pattern?

Hey, great video and love your channel.
Is there any particular reason you didn't use your snap ring pliers on the inner snap ring?

Several months ago my EZ-GO 800 that I use everyday for work started making a grinding noise coming from the rear end. Now on top of the grinding noise there's been a clicking that gets worse everyday. Any ideas?

I cannot get my hub off. Got the snap ring off and hit it with a chipping hammer from behind. it won't budge. Any other tricks?

Bryan, isn’t a carrier bushing only needed for a Kawasaki transaxle? I can’t remember if they all require it. Guess I’ll have to take mine out before ordering parts.

Never mind. I went through a manual just now and evidently they are all as yours at least up to 09 as per my book. I really enjoy your videos!

I didn't see you pack the bearing. Does it get lubricated by the rear-end oil?

Great job but i will use a sealed bearing like the original and NOT a SHIELDED bearing you used.

  • @dspur3994
    @dspur3994 ปีที่แล้ว

Could have used the collar to seat the bearing. It would have pressed on just the inner race.

Why don't you have brakes. I would have installed the brakes before i put the axle in .

If you have a press why not use that to get the old bearing off

    • @Fentertainment

I dont have a bearing separator puller kit and I dont replace axle bearings enough to buy one. I was able to use a edger blade to help press the bearing on the axle but I didnt have the tool in order to install between the bearings and hub. The cut off wheel is easy to remove it.
