Solid video. Pro tip for the 3:30 mark: use some white lithium grease (or bearing grease if that's all you have) and apply some lube to the exposed outer sides of the bushings. This prevents rubbing/chaffing and noise from the bushings against the shackles, and typically makes them last longer.
Done my suspension work this way for 15 years, and it produces great results with just an extra 60 seconds of work. 🍺 ✌
Props to you for actually cleaning your mounting surfaces in the video (the inside of the leaf springs, and the bolts). Most TH-cam folks skip this, or don't even know about it. It's an important step.
The inside of the leaf can also be greased with a thin layer to make installing the bushings easier (in case anyone has a hard time getting their bushings in).

Thanks for the tip. I do agree I should have greased it. But I was out of grease I ended up applying some down the road.

That front bolt is made that way. It doesn't use a sleeve like the upper and lower rear shackle bolts do.

I dunno. Upper And lower rear shackles looked identical. and the kit send me Ethier extras or ones for the front.

the front does not require a bushing. the bolt is the bushing. it is larger then the rear ones for this reason. tip. easier way to get the rear sleeve off is to find the crease in the sleeve. and with a sharp thin screwdriver of small chisel. hit it in the crease till it opens a little then you will be able to split the sleeve open. but better yet. replace the bolt and the sleave.just a suggestion

I’m going to change the bushings on my EZGO RXV but I also want to do the ones on the front but I can’t find a kit that sells enough of them to do the entire car. So does that mean I need to buy two kits just to do the front?

I was wrong sorry about that the front don’t have bushings

I realize that. I bought them on eBay and changed them took about an hour and a half pretty simple. but thanks.

So you don’t need to remove the tires first?

The only comment I have is to please use jack stands. They're not expensive and it only takes a moment to set them up. You're a young guy. If that jack failed for any reason you could be looking at an injury that would affect the rest of your life

Where did you get your new bushings? Are you happy with them? I’m trying to decide where to buy them, I would like to buy quality parts. Thanks!

Love your video, May I ask if you are interested in trying the accessories we specially made for EZGO? If so, I would need your email address for further communication.
