    1. Nice run'n'gun set up. I've got Ulanzi x Ombra light tripod. It's great at a glance, but ballhead is pretty... cheap. And can't tighten it up really well.
    2. Same here. Yesterday got my X4. Didn't play with it yet (heavy rains in our area), but predicting a lot of fun with it.
    3. Updated studio looks nice.
    4. Thinking now to get a couple of those collapsable softboxes. Just don't know is it possible to use with my Zhiyun X60 lights with bowens adaptor?

Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment! Unfortunately, that seems to be the case with alot of the "budget" stands. I feel like they are getting better. I'm a huge fan of Ulanzi's Falcam system, but I have quite a few of their grip products that just don't seem to get tight enough.
The X4 is a great idea and design, and maybe it's just me, but I just can't seem to get amazing quality with mine. I've only had it a couple of days so I'm still trying to figure it out or maybe I'm just spoiled by DJI with the Pocket and Action. But it always seems to be grainy or out of focus. Let me know how it goes for you. As of right now it is not the "Best Action Cam Ever" that I'm seeing all over TH-cam.
Thanks again for you time and kind words! Enjoy your new camera!

@@Donny_B The problem is, that when you shooting 360/8k, you get 2.7k image when you render it to normal 2D flat video. That's why probably picture looks a bit grainy and blurry. I used to have a first generation of this cam. And i didn't like it at all. Skipped couple generations. And decided to give X4 a chance. And yes, you right. After using Pocket3 and Action4 (i have both of them) video looks..... can't say sucks, but not as good as you wish. Looks like we need 11-12k/360 image out of it, and 1inch sensor. Then image gonna be suitable to use it with other Vlog/Action cameras. Need to wait couple generations more. Anyway i'll keep it. Cuz i found myself needing a 360 camera once in a while, and there is nothing better in the market so far.

@@Donny_B Oh. And about Ulanzi. I'm living in China for 16 years already. And here we have an official Ulanzi (and all their subbrands) online store. I'm alway trying all their new products (they have 1 day delivery here, which is awesome) and 99% of time i'l totally satisfied with everything. Normally i use Fotobetter (also a Chinese brand) tripods, but this time decided to give Ulanzi's one a chance. And... it failed. Bigeest issue is a plastic ballhead. It's sloppy and weak.

I agree. I picked up the X4 because I wanted to start filming more of my photo shoots and honestly I did not want the distraction of filming or having to ask the subject to wait while I talk into the abyss, lol. Figured just record everything and choose what I need later. I'm sure it is all operator error. Like I said, I'm spoiled by DJI and being able to open the box and get started recording. It's just a learning curve, and honestly I'm not even sure my PC can handle 8k. I feel like I just got setup to edit 4k, haha 😄! Tech definitely moves faster than I do!

@@Donny_B I’m using MacStudio with M1 Max chip. And it handles this 8k (it’s not super high bitrate) quite smooth. And my suggestion, get Ulanzi’s plate for X4 (it’s a contraption to mount external microphone receiver to 360cam, originally made for X3, but works with X4 as well). And X4 external mic adapter. So you gonna get way more decent sound quality out of it, and X4 still gonna make it invisible, cuz it mounts on the side.

Converning the loose screwdriver in your tripod, really coat the screw threads with lots of beeswax or any wax you have. This should tighten things up.

Sounds like you're speaking from experience. That's good advice! I'll give it a try!
