Always very articulate and perfectly timed playing but still all the good taste and emotion. Anythings sounds good in your hands. Some players have magic moments but you have it all the time that is what great playing is about: being constant in exceptional. Hats off Tim! Greetings from France.
Hi Tim! I just wanted to say that I found a new mentor and inspiration in you.... You are the musician I wish I would be..... Thanks for sharing your incredible knowledge and passion with us.... Better than being an master of your art, you seem to be a truly amazing human being.... All my respect.
Very Hip sounding amp and great playing too. I have worked with Rick very closely with his early amps, and I must say he is among the best of the best! Congrats Rick on yet another Wizard Classic!
that's why the hire you all over! The sounds, versatility and control of tone are unprecedented. Way to go Tim!!! The amp rocks too. Vintage 30s should be the way to go, but I don't see the option on their site. It probably doesn't match the circuit.
I like your office! just heard about wizard amps last night from a guy I bought a Les Paul R7 off of. Just got a Mesa Boogie Stiletto Ace. Very nice amp but just trying to find the sweet spot. nice demo...
Great playing as usuall ! You can make an old radio sound great, but is this amp played with a miked cabinet, or do you use an attenutator? If so, which attenuator ?
Hey Tim, huge fan of yours. Always thought you were an excellent player back in the 80's (I was always wondering who is that guy) and I enjoy your videos in the last several years. I am looking to get a Wizard Modern Classic II but debating between the 50w vs 100w. I do play at home and small clubs/bars but i hear these amps are uber loud. What is your opinion on both the 50w vs 100w tonally? If the 100w is much better then maybe i can attenuate it (affects tone). Lastly, what speakers do you prefer you Wizard with? Thanks and keep up the great work with your videos, i love hearing about your old stories/recordings of classics that no one know about (i.e. Bon Jovi's Runaway) and do tell more about your wild days on the road with Rick. Thanks.
Great playing as always, Tim! I recently bought a Wizard Vintage Classic and can't wait til' it gets here. Is the backing track available to download somewhere? Would love to jam out to it! Cheers!
Having recently owned a Wizard MTL (converted to MKii specs) I have to say yes. Had to sell due to financial reasons but I want another. If you don't want to spend $5k for a new one you gotta be on the look out for a used one. They don't usually last long
@@SlinkyT82 good to know and now they are closer to 6k! I am happy with my Uberschall, Mesa Mark V and Mezzabarba MZero amps. For Wizard amp you can buy 2-3 very nice amps with different tone ranges and features like MIDI, IR loader and so forth. I would need to play thru a Wizard amp to see if it was worth it for me.
Yes, you're correct, but not like the Wizards do. I love Marshall's also. I have several including the DSL 15 h and love it. I was just stating I like the Wizard amp a lot, that's all. I've been playing for 37 years and have skill. I just make it fun and not turn it into a contest. My first amp at age 13 was a Fender Princeton with a Ross overdrive pedal is still on of the best sounds I've ever had besides my JMP 1. Cheers meginis8. Keep on rockin...
i got a similar amp and i dont like the vintage 30 to much, im a classic rocki guy, i think its to bright, what type of speakers u recomend to me, thank you
+André Bonolo Hmm, I always found V30s to be very dull sounding. If you love Classic Rock (just like me) and want to get the sound, then get yourself some nice Greenbacks. G12Ms or the G12M Anniversary are the way to go. I've got a Marshall 1960AX which houses 4 Greenbacks and I've never ever wanted something else.
i got the same sound with a peavey 15w and a HD boost TV sound system for effect .amp sound going thru sound system play clean distortion without switching anything
That distressor pushes your tone also a lot of course. And some little daw reverb & delay even smoothens some more. So we are not hearing the amp actually. The pedal I think, nothing special, it's better without. But, very good playing and a nice amp tho!
What a world we live in where we get to hear and see you practice, use and discuss your craftsmanship and playership.
:)

Fantastic playing and KILLER sounding amp!!
Very nice Tim! Great demo as usual. Thanks for sharing your awesome talents...great amp those Wizards are.
Wizard is that old classic must have amp from the 70's that was never released until now
Tim’s just the best very unassuming and a hell of a technical player
Very Hip sounding amp and great playing too. I have worked with Rick very closely with his early amps, and I must say he is among the best of the best! Congrats Rick on yet another Wizard Classic!
Thanks Russell!
Wow...what an amazing sounding amp. Your playing is pretty sweet, too.
***** Thanks! #wizardamps
you just made up my mind for me I am buying that delay pedal!!! Does it come with a player boost button so I can play as good as you haha!
:)
Sounds fantastic, very versatile amp. Great demo too!
Thanks Martin :)
omg. I was impressed with the sound. Theory of A Deadman know what to chose

Thanks Philip... very kind
I would love to see a rig rundown.
Fantastics tones Tim!
Thanks!
Any awesome demo's of the other Modern Classic? Great demonstration and information I really appreciate videos like this!
Very cool! Thanks....
Sounds fantastic! :)
Damn, you have some amazing gear. Excellent tones also.
great playing style man!
That last clip with the Gretsch. That sound was absolutely beautiful. Was that from any particular song or was it just you improvising?
Very nice channel here Tim Pierce...Marty sent me over here.
Marty's Great! Thanks Savvy

Sounds great Tim ! Is this a 50 or 100 watt version ? thanks

Hi Tim. Could you tell me what setting for rythm (pushed clean) you used here?
Are Wizard amps worth almost 5k just for the head? Seems priced way up there with Diezel amps.

Hey Tim I have a similar setup at my house can you go through your setup of wiring and gear and how not to blow up your home wiring :)
Just what he said, the amp responds to his picking attack. Try to find that in another amp. I don't know of any. What a great amp in every category.

marshall 2266 vintage modern
Do you come up with those jams on the spot?
Of course he does, he's Tim Pierce!!!
I wonder if these belonged to Tim. If so, I wonder if Tim still has a Wizard or two....
Oh man. I really wish I could afford this amp. big time. lol.

@@BudMovies Agreed, I found the G12Ms to go better with my Wizard than the Mesa 4x12 I had at the time with Vintage 30s. I miss that amp.
What is your very favourite amp?
Wizard plays Wizard.
Talk about a tight space.

Are all you you tubers getting paid to push these Amps?
