Nice video. Just a tip, you can get an aftermarket cold air intake and on the rubber tube between the cold air intake and throttle body you can drill a hole in I'd say 3/8 get a PVC grommet and connect the iat to that without every having to cut any wires. The o2 sensor you can buy extensions on ebay.(get a 5 spd ex harness and you can bypass the iacv), you wont have to do the iacv mod but you will need to do the ckf bypass because the stock wire wont reach either. This is for everyone doing a swap that wants to avoid cutting wires, overall great video

Question, I have a 1996 Midori Hatch i just got with a B20B set in the bay that I have been piecing together to make work and finish. I have the 96 Harness in the car still and for the most part its plug and play as far as I can tell but what do I do with the CRANK plug? do I just tape it up and leave it unplugged as the B20B doesn't have a crank sensor on the oil pump. Also running an OBD1 distributor so i need to do the jumper harness you showed in this video as well as injectors. I have never done a honda swap so this is all new to me.

ya you definetly can use quick connects and butt connects like i do, but i would think its definetly worth noting that snce you have for almost everything else that you thinkthere is a better more correct way, is that its not as clean or correct as soldering it because soldering ensures a good connection the butt connects you cannot visualy see the connection its covered, pluss there ugly and and come apart and soldering is definetly in my opinion the better way of the two others you had mentioned

bro I have a swap equal to the beginning everything worked well but now that I handle it it has a failure as a cut but then when accelerating to high it works well without faults but in low acceleration it grabs a cut ....?
It'll be like right off the show room floor. To get some extra power on your new motor and trans you should try the water meth hack. Just run the gas tank to empty and refill with the garden hose. You'll get at least 100 extra hp. Lol
crappy thing for me is i literally just did this in november but didnt know i could just switch plugs for the most part and took the whole fornt of the inside of my harness from my 91 manual accord lx to make that motor work in my 92 ex from a auto to manual couldnt get my temp guage to work so iinstalled onand the speedo doesnt work but i have a light for the speed senson so i hope thats all i have to fix for the speed to work but as for the temp guage i couldnt figure it out oh ya and the horns and fans i had to wire manually so i really need to consider a solution to fix up my wiring cause so far when something hasnt worked i just add more wires and directly wire it myself so for now i have fan, horn,and coolant temp gauge wiring going through my bay on top of all the original stuff so....

Very ironic. I just got a DB8 (GSR) with a b20b in a trade. The harness is so hacked, i dont know how it even runs. My question is, would it be an issue using an LS engine harness? I've seen a few GSR harnesses for $250-$350 and LS harnesses for $50-$80. i figure i can later add the vtec wires (when I decide on swapping the head) and save a good amount of money. Oh it's OB2

Son's friend installed for free but didn't get to do wire harness..I have heard of jumper wire.Or maybe just show my friend this video!! i would of soldered wire to the alt. plug to extend those short ones then soldered that to the harness! if he ever wanted to convert to obd1 its not hard to just cut the plug off an old junkyard harness.
You have choices go to school and learn how to repin the right way or buy jumper harnesses but always save your old connectors so you have options to go back I built an entire b20 harness for my eg but I wish I had money for the rywire harness for the looks knowledge can be a substitute for money in some circumstances but it’s up to you to make sure you do your research before you do that to a harness I destroyed one first then I nailed it the second time knowledge also cost money keep that in mind

I had my valve cover painted that weird o.d. green-ish with that same self etching primer for the longest time cuz it's such a neat color.

You can jump crank sensor wire to pick up signal from dizzy. You have to splice two wires at ecu plug.

Edward yes to clean the inside of the motor. you just gotta leave the intake manifold open too. make sure to fill it with water. lol

All you need is one hose for the PCV , one hose for the brake booster , one small vacuum line for the FPR , the rest you can block off
