I have this in "grey". I think it makes the deck heavier than it already is by changing the ergonomics. During long gaming sessions, I have to take it out of the grip case. I agree with the ease of install and removal. It also fits in the original case, albeit a little too tightly.
So I just received this grip and it is a pretty tight fit inside the case that the Steam Deck comes with. I'm a little worried about the pressure on the thumbsticks. Also noticed a bit of movement on the portion of the grip that rests in your palm. It's not as snug as I was expecting. Otherwise, it seems okay. I do like that it can stand on its own and I think it's, aesthetically, nicer looking than the Satisfye Stylthgrip. However, the Stylthgrip is probably better functionally; it better be considering the price difference. Lol
I beg to differ. Satisfye's Stylthgrip is the best as it allows your palms to be filled for better grip and more use of your fingers, especially if you like using your first and middle finger for the bumpers and triggers, while using the third and pinkie fingers for the rear buttons. Keep in mind that the extra bulk makes it impractical to store inside a zipper carry case, so you will want something like a "tomtoc" travel case instead.
I am a huge fan of skull and co and the case feels nice. However, as other users stated, the fit with the official Steam Deck case is too tight. I can close the zipper, but I am afraid that it will stretch the case to a point that a steam deck without a case will move too much.
It looks amazing! I have the NeoGrip for my Oled Switch and it's a MUST, so maybe I'll try this too. Do you have an Ivoler dock? I'd like to know if it fits. Thanks in advance
I don’t have the ivoler dock, but I know of it and it’s similar in size to the jsaux, so without testing I’d say chances are it will fit. But can’t be 100%
Can you try putting on jsaux mod case face cover onto this? Does it fit? And also compared to modcase which one is lighter? (Without faceplate) Thanks!
No 😂 They improve the feel immeasurably and have helped for the past months of using it almost every day. Never had an issue and without them it’s just too slippery and can’t get small movements as accurate. Thanks for the thought though, appreciate it. 👍🏻

Just curious but when you say after long sessions, you take it the case off. Is it because it becomes uncomfortable?
Nicee, I already ordered it.
Also there is a jsaux official dock cover that goes over the official dock to fit any type of case, and it's black metal, great accessory
Great review man. Subscribed to check more steam deck accessories that you’ll review!
I ordered one just because I watched this video

Just returned the satisfye grip, the grip itself is nice but the case covers the trigger buttons unlike the skull n co ones
Thanks ! I was waiting to see a review.

@@mycelium1456 lmao thanks bro but I’ve been thinking on selling it and either wait for a sale on the ROG or get whatever the next PC handheld will be
@@grogu3034 true lol
It fits the tomtoc case but is the case difficult to be zipped? It is pretty difficult for the official carry bag.
Those thumbstick grips are the best. Very grippy.

Is that with the new case for the OLED 1TB model, with the liner? Because on their website it says it is not compatible with that one
I got the case and carrying case bundle, I think they stopped the bundle though, got it for $19 on Amazon
This or the stylth grib from sarisfy?
This. 💯
The stand is awesome, except for soft areas like sofa or bed.
Does it improve the grip depth at all?

it fits just fine
Yeah, I can confirm it fits. Thanks!
In your opinio, should I buy this one or a silicone one?
What are those grips in your L1/L2 R1/R2. Looks great!
They are from PlayVital, also the trackpad grips are a lifesaver, love them.
Does it fit on the JSAUX dock? Thanks in advance
I got the galaxy purple on my cute blue and purple deck with stars skin. It’s pretty but a bit heavy on the oled.
Do you like this better than the dbrand grip case?
I do
Does it fit the gripcase in the jsaux dock?
I actually like the added weight, makes me feel like I’m playing something of high quality
wondering if you or anyone knows if it will fit on the Sabrent 6 port dock with this case?
It's a weird angle for the stand.
i recently got my steam deck. I this grip case looks cool specially that can stand without a dock..
Can you try putting on jsaux mod case face cover onto this? Does it fit?

Thanks!
140g sounds like a fair amount of extra weight!
It is. But relative when you consider how much the SD weighs.
Is heat retention an issue?
I’m from Texas how long do you think it takes to ship I really want the purple one
Where are those trigger grips from
PlayVital
@CTAtechdesk I think they've updated them cause they don't look the same as the ones you have and the ones they have on their website/Amazon
Fits into og dock?
will it fit the free steamdeck oled case?
Yes
Will this fit the OLED Steam deck
It’s the same size so yeah
Does this make it anymore erganomic????
Yes
damn, this thing has it all and it's cheap. Here I was looking at 60 dollar dbrand grips lmao
It’s my goto grip for SD. It’s ace
Top of the case looks a bit floppy.
What kind of thumbstick caps are those?
only issue with these kind of cases is they stretch over time, go with the supcase, dont ever need to worry about it
please remove the trackpad's covers.. they are horrible.. (touch don't work correctly with them)
No 😂 They improve the feel immeasurably and have helped for the past months of using it almost every day. Never had an issue and without them it’s just too slippery and can’t get small movements as accurate.
Thanks for the thought though, appreciate it. 👍🏻
@@CTAtechdeskwhich covers do you have? would love to purchase for my oled
Maybe depends on what brand of trackpad cover you bought? The cheap ones might not be the right material for a trackpad.
@@alexcortez3007 I tried I think the playvital original trackpad stickers.the trackpad became unresposive
The TouchProtect is the best one I’ve used so far, others brands just make it worse
