    Hahaha, “No more tropicals”. Lots of room on the rest of the table. Very nice start to the Fukien Tea. Looking forward to watching it develop.

    I think the Fukien Tea turned out nice. The artist in you helped in a nice design of the tree.

    🌟Good job Xin! 👍 Thank you so much for pointing these trees out when we were at Tropical Expressions. You have a great eye for good trees. I really love these miniature Fukien tea trees! I’ll get a BRT too, eventually when I get more shelf space.

    Hi. I’m brand new to bonsai and your channel. After doing lots of research I decided that my first tree would be the Fukien which actually hasn’t even arrived yet but while I’m waiting I thought I’d find all the videos I could so that I can see how people make their decisions for shaping, the actual pruning and wiring process etc. Out of all the ones I’ve watched so far yours is the only one that has all of that in one video, it’s the most comprehensive and educational as well as being entertaining. Thank you. Hopefully I will eventually develop these skills and be half as good as you are at making decisions. I’m off to watch the rest of your channel, thanks again.

      It's a bit of a trek from Owen Sound to Hamilton, especially now that we have snow up here. Worst case scenario, if they don't have what I'm looking for when I go, I will find something else that will be amazing. And then I can just pester you or Nigel for a cutting :P

    That’s so cool, you guys all got this tree. Now we get to watch how you each style it. Wish I had one to do right along with you guys. I would order one, but I don’t have room for it. I’ve got a lemon tree that needs some work. I’ll do that instead.

    Hi Xin, i would like to propose to you position as a front that i think you should consider :)
    i think 11:11 or 11:23 moment is interesting front, whereas the curve of the trunk and the position of the outer branches are nice, and also the apex is coming back to the viewer.
    Greetings from Macedonia

    • @MaybeBonsai
      @MaybeBonsai  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I see, it is quite close to the current front and it does look good from your suggested angle as well. Thanks for the suggestion Nikola, this tree will need years in development before it becomes anything significant and I am sure the front will change a bit over time.

    My Fukien don't grow berries. Are you doing something special, or is it a special type of Fukien? This tree is even more beautiful now. 🤔🙂

    Buy a lazy Susan at 99cent store, wire, stones, rocks etc. , tools like chopsticks scoops.

    I think that I would have been inclined to use a guy wire instead of wiring the branch. A small hole in the rim of the pot could be used to secure the wire.
