It's hard to say how unit is strong, bc some of them good in some specific detachments. Like melee acolytes - in Xenocreed they're B-A, in Biosantic B. Alphus S in BBA bc hitting on 2+ and more mechanised army potential in this detachment. Magus in XC is cheap relic holder+keyword, C-B Saboteur less powerful now bc nerf to range of abilities from 12' to 9' and democharge nerf. C-D Primus and Neos only worth in HoA, A bc of pts, in other places he's overcosted and neos just weak shooting, C. Bikes even in Outlander is not worth taking, another truck with acolytes is better, D Clamavus is useless now, you don't need to protect markers from ds, D Locus depends on meta, I don't use him personally. Nexos is Mr. 1 CP for 60pts, dunno, even no double strat, a lot weaker than at a start of 10th. In HoA B-A, otherwise D Rockgrinder in Outlander+BBA A, it's just cheap 10t, tank shock. In Biosantic B to deliver abbs+abom.
Thanks for watching! We did our best to just factor what we thought overall power levels were while sometimes thinking about different detachments. You’ve got some good thoughts though!
Bikes in outrider claw are still solid. The fact they gain sticky means if you go first you get to scout up onto no mans land objectives at the start of game, sticky them top of 1, then move at least 12in movement and essentially jail list with gsc models. The strats and detachment bonus make them solid in that detachment, but else where are too expensive so i think b tier is about a fair assessment
The fact that we have different formations makes a tear list difficult because all army formations have units specifically made for only one or two formations. . . But I feel the movement shenanigans weren't discussed much. DJ Clamy V is less useful than the Nexus for this reason and the Hybrid pistols are better as they flee 6" while the flame pistols flee D6" . . . There are many ways to play GS Cults which makes tear lists difficult. But maybe at the conclusion you make demo lists of groupings where if you prefer this play style use these six units but if you're more into this these six units would work better for that.
This review was solid, even after the next balance dataslate its still mostly relevant. Better than the other 'big' youtube channels imo. Good job 🎉
Oh heck yeah, this is the content I subbed for

I am thinking to take 1 Primus and 2 Benefiktus and put them in 20man neophyt squads to deep strike and let it rain.
Seems like a pretty spooky idea! I like it. Thanks for watching!
Yeah, Tucker!
