Sony is a great salesman, but I didn't need any help on this one. I've had 2 pre-ordered since announcement.
Hopefully I'm more of a trusted reviewer than a salesman, my job is to get you the info you need to make a decision, not necessarily make you buy stuff that isn't good
@TMReviews haha. I don't look at you as a salesman at all. Definitely a trusted reviewer. I'd say my go-to. I just have weak restraint sometimes. Fans Toys sell themselves to me though

Can’t wait for them to get home, and the rest of the cassettes. I truly hope FT spoils us with more cassettes: Enemy, Wingthing, Beastbox, and Squawktalk. Been a while since we saw you on Thursday nights with the rest of the Action Figure crew.

This figure looks and feels so good in hand. One of my white knee pieces is missing, but I was planning on using the toy parts for the legs with this one anyway (my Soundwave on display is clean) and it looks more interesting with the metallic red. This was already a great figure, and the Sound Blaster is probably the better of the two for me. Thanks again. Your reviews are very comprehensive; the best out there, I'd say. Looking forward to getting the four new tapes soon, Buzzsaw especially.
make sure you grab the iacon3dlabs toy and toon chest replacements, they look fantastic.
Mine just arrived today and he looks good. The cassettes should arrive either Monday or Tuesday.

I'd kill for a FT repaints of TFE-21 SoundBlaster and TFE-22 Twincast both including the fire repainted cassettes

My copy should arrive tomorrow, and I have to admit he looks better than Acoustic Wave. I still love Acoustic Wave but its paint is lacking they should have gone with a more metallic paint than the flatter paint. Love the charcoal gun metal finish here, although I confess I only got this guy for Ratbat and I only ordered the tapes for buzzsaw but I won’t be selling any of the set. Ratbat looks amazing with the gold chrome and the detail with the boosters and feet, great mini cassette.
Color looks better than Soundwave plus Ratbat isn't ever going to be released singally so I guess it's a purchase.
I purchased this figure just for Ratbat...I hate myself sometimes
Neither will Frenzy (Red). So if you want all the cassette bots, you have to buy both Soundwave and Soundblaster which is annoying. Takara did the same.

Just got mine in the mail today. I only bought this figure for Ratbat...my wallet is definitely not happy with me.
Any reason to get another sound wave is a plus
I was going to skip this release but now I'm thinking about a headmaster inspired shelf to go with a KFC Doubledeck I picked up.

Great comparison. That Soundwave should have been done in metallic blue. It just looks soulless.

It was bad enough that they bait and switched on the black shin panels being all white, but it's way more disappointing that Acoustic Blaster is "gunmetal" instead of being black.
It's not so bad that I want to cancel my order, but it doesn't enthuse me to make any other FansToys' purchases, and I am sure sad that MMC/Ocular Max didn't make their own Soundwave and Soundblaster.
It's also disappointing that Ratbat has no way to securely pose on Soundblaster's arm, whether that was with magnets or with a peg and socket on his arm.
For about $200, I expect better.
Does anyone else have a loose knee?
Mine was ok, there is a screw to tighten tho so that might help
