Thanks for your introduction😊 I apply a free Figma account and just made a new Fig jam for teaching Chinese; quick question, is Figma allowed teacher to creat our own picture/photo/gif Library so I will not limited by using the stamp/icons? I keep searching the templates, but can’t find what I want.
Thanks for the great video! Do you know if Figjam alows to record audio/video? In my use case it would be quite useful to record meetings, but I could not find the feature in their site.
I've been using Figma design and jams for quite a while now and have tried to get my team teachers on board and to use it. It's amazing now hard it is to get others on board for technology that can save a lot of time and that can increase productivity for both educators and students. I've demoed Figma to other teachers and they all recognize it's potential, but no one is using it. Any recommendations on how I can get others on board and start using it?
Wow - this is great BUT for KS1 students this would be so overwhelming - most of the students I work with do not know how to use Google Classroom so I do not know how they would be able to use FigJam
Hi Ed, I've been using Jamboard for a while and I was so disappointed with the announcement that Google will stop working with it..... I especially use it with private students when I make the slides on Google Slides and then download the slides I want the students to write on to do the exercises. (I even learned that with you). Will I be able to do this with Figjam? I was wondering if you could help me with that or even produce a video about it. Thank you!
Hi im looking for a program that i can personalize a homeschool curriculum but make it digitally interactive. Like a calendar I can add the number date. To each day, or if we’re learning the shape circle have the circle side come on and objects bounce in ,etc which program would be best for this?
I am a tutor trying to switch from Jamboard to FigJam. My current online student is under 13 years of age. Does that mean we cannot use this platform, or is there a way for younger students to join with a parental consent? Thanks for your help.
I have 2 questions. Our school board has blocked us from using google products and accounts. Is this a google product or an adobe product? Also, some students prefer not having their peers know what they've written. While I love that this lets the the teacher know who has posted what (that was a definite weakness of Jam board), do the other students see as well?
Figma is it's own thing. The great thing about it is that you can download it or use it in the browser and it completely syncs between the two on multiple devices and accounts.
Thanks guys. I was wondering because the interface looks like Google and at the bottom of the website it says Adobe. Fingers crossed, cause the current one we're using is always crashing
OMG, do you think they intentionally named it Figjam because they knew what the acronym meant?!?! 😅 If you haven't heard of it: F#$* I'm Good, Just Ask Me! 😂
This is an amazing resource that I hope to use in my classroom some day. I like that the students can use post it notes to voice their ideas and that the post it notes now say who wrote them. I also love that it is free! #fduedtech
Sam, are you planning to come back to TH-cam and post more videos? You really helped me grow as a teacher. Thanks!
Thanks so much ! You are such a wonderful person by sharing all these tools !
You explain everything in a simple and effective way.
Thank you. Nice material made by a professor. Conviced!
Another thing, how do I organize the slides for the students? I was trying Figjam now and I found it confusing.....

What lesson would you use it for? I'd like to introduce it with a purpose.

Are the sections similar to the frames we had in JB? So, if I have 30 learners, can I have 30 sections?
Added Figjam, Thanks!

I don't believe it's own by Google or Adobe.

We are a Microsoft school any product similar to this
thanks you
It seems weak app .
Cause it doesn't contain record like recording all our teaching to save it like a video .
Thanks!
The fact that i makes people have an account is the reason why i cant use it
Points for humor
I personally prefer Jamboard. I don't like infinite whiteboards :(
Jamboard will desapear on December 24
