- The UK general election campaign is now in full swing, with just one month to go until Britain heads to the polls.
Rishi Sunak and Sir Keir Starmer will have the opportunity to battle for votes over the coming weeks, with plenty of public appearances - and even TV debates - planned.
Occasionally, though, politicians can make a slip or two and it seems several high-profile gaffes have marred the early days of the Conservative Party's election campaign.

Someone should have had the nerve to shout “he’s a Tory councillor!” Same with ‘baby Ross Kemp blocking the eye-rolling lady.
There’s a lot of stuff that they’ve done so far that the Electoral Commission would’ve taken complaint with before the Tories came to power. Johnson’s government gutted their powers, however.

The Union Flag (called the Union Jack if it is on a ship/boat etc but commonly called the Union Jack in all cases) has alternating wide and narrow white diagonal lines. It should be flown with the wider white line towards the top of the flagpole. If on a ship it is flown reversed or upside down (ie with the narrow line to the top of the flagpole) it is a sign that the ship is in distress and is seeking help. In days gone by it was a good way of disguising distress whilst maintaining the appearance all was well as it is often not noticed to the untrained eye.
In other news, it always annoys me that self-proclaimed British nationalists oh so proudly fly the Union flag upside-down in complete ignorance of the right and proper way of displaying it. 😢

As a lawyer, Starmer would have come in contact with many working class people who have fallen on hard times, or legally in a terrible place.
Sunak admitted that he doesn’t know any working class people.
@@Aussiemarco Starmer was on Desert Island Discs about a year ago and talked at length about his very ordinary upbringing. He came over as natural and genuine.

I think you're going to have to make lots of these videos. You can start the next one with Sunak leaving early on the 80th commemorations for The D-Day Landings. That guy should not be allowed out.
