It wasn't meant to be a Reform hatchet job, it was meant to be a piece that exposed the racism that is present within Reform. It's not a hatchet job because Reform has never and never will have any chance of taking power, they're supported by an aging demographic; which means their popularity will only go down from here, they're peaking now, and as peaks go this is more Snowden than Everest.

There are two points here I'd make.
1: The guy appears to be an actor, a member of Equity Union, and has a demo tape on the internet showing off the 'rough' voice he can affect, which is the same voice he uses in the channel 4 'gotcha'. To be clear, the voice he uses in the channel 4 clip is not his natural voice. It's a practiced accent he is adopting to make him sound more 'common'. That's all HUGELY suspicious, and it certainly does seem like he's working to undermine Reform.
2: What needs to be investigated is to what degree channel 4 are complicit.
However when GB News got in touch with Andrew Parker he dismissed such theories and said that while he was goaded by the undercover reporter, he rejected any suggestion that he was a ‘paid actor’ set-up to make Reform look bad.

I’ll be honest I was apathetic about voting, as I see it over all the Conservatives and Labour differences are basically the colour of the rosette. Farage hasn't denied that he's one of his activists. Furthermore a formal statement was issued by the campaigner apologising.
I spent 8 years following a blog written by a former Kipper. The kind of behaviour of this campaigner in this video was common place in the comments on the blog. In public they pretend to be reasonable bur when anonymous they're quite extreme.

This is good to hear. I would stand with my political opponents in this situation. This is dangerous and goes beyond political point scoring. I feel like our voice is being removed and even those who can see what's going are siding with the establishment against us. Everyone else can participate in democracy, but not us. It's a weird place to be, I'm really losing faith in the system now. Starting to feel like a prisoner.

How did the undercover film crew know which canvasser to go with to get the story they wanted? As there are normally lots of canvassers ready to go out door knocking etc. Did they have lots of film crews to latch onto hard working canvasses or was it much simpler than that?

On his website it also states that he is a member of a left wing equality group.

A lawsuit should be brought against the actor and also channel 4 for setting it up and undoubtably paying him to do this.
Channel 4 used a production company and will try to pass the blame onto them. However that won't work - they failed to vet the production company for impartiality. Also the fact that they have left this video up, is a serious aggravating factor and shows that they have been complicit in the libel.
