Amazing! When I was your age, I utterly detested these cars. They represented everything that was wrong with America. Now? Well… naturally… I can’t get ENOUGH of them, LOL! I hope you enjoyed doing this as much as I had watching it. Savour the experience and then move on. Now you know to LOOK for irreparable frame damage and stuff like that. It would be easier to pass it on to the junkyard. Some might part it out… but that’s a lot of effort, and in the meantime, the thing takes up precious space in your life. Onward to the next project! Mercu? wasn't that the German make name for Mercury? Find something with a solid frame, maybe a Falcon, Maverick, Duster or Valiant, great cars, easy to work on, abundant parts, but you do whatever you want kid!
