Right on, my man! That feeling when you break a losing streak is pure bliss. And when you catch 'em on a Texas rig, it's so different from top water. Keep the videos coming! I haven't fished in weeks so I get a vicarious thrill from watching you. Between the wind, the cold, and even the early ice it's been terrible here up north!
@jasonm1884 Thank you my friend! It felt great for sure, like the monkey off my back. I thought about you when I rigged that pole because finesse is your go to. I tied a 4" straight tail with a 1/16 weight. Thought about going weightless but needed a little weight to help with casting. I'm hating on the cold weather for you man. It's THE reason I left Indiana. Hopefully I can get out Sunday if these storms make their way out in time. Appreciate you as always!!!
Awesome! Soft plastics open up a new world of bass fishing. Other than topwater my favorite way to bass fish. I finally caught my first striper on a top water this year, I was stoked!
@ChesapeakeChris Nice 👍 so you can totally relate to my euphoria! Nothing will ever compare to topwater, I still get spooked sometimes when they blow up on the surface, but I believe the numbers favor soft plastics. Thanks for watching and commenting!

As we enter the transition, you up there before me down in Tennessee, they just don't hit as hard. Come post-spawn, they just might try to yank your rod right out of your hand! It's just that time of year. Great channel!
