    I'm looking for this canopy and I can't find anything with hex legs and the robust tie down straps...Do you have a model number?

      I don't know if they still make it or not. But here is the description from my amazon order. Eurmax Premium 10'x10' Commercial Grade Heavy Duty Outdoor Easy Pop up Canopy Instant Tent Trade Show White

    Make sure the canopy is not tied to the bars. The last few inches might take a little effort to get latched

    Hello, you said that also got the 10 x 15 model. Is it harder to put up? is it significantly drier in non-windy rain due to its larger interior size? Thanks

    • @RoughRidersTV
      @RoughRidersTV  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not really. 2 people makes the job easier but that is true with the 10x10 or the 10x15. I will post a review on the larger one soon.

    Can you tell me the distance from the bottom of the valence to the ground when the legs are fully extended. The diagram on the Eurmax website is confusing. Thanks.

      I will take a measurement of it next time I set it up and let you know. I don't know that number off the top of my head.

    We just bought one of these but can't get the canopy to lift up all the way?? None of the videos show how to get it up that I've seen. Just shows the beginning of the video with someone getting ready to lift it but doesn't show it actually going up and what they may have done differently.

    • @RoughRidersTV
      @RoughRidersTV  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Not sure if my previous comment came through. Make sure the canopy is not tied/velcro'd to the cross bars. It won't go up if they are. You do that after you have the canopy up. The only other thing is you do have to apply some force to the slider as you get it most of the way open. Just push until you hear it click.

    Hi, just bought a 10x15, looks great, going to test it out at Stormville Flea Mkt in 12 days. I want to get the stakes & straps, so I don't have to lug 160 lbs of "ballast", but all they seem to offer now is rope. Any ideas about this?

    • @RoughRidersTV
      @RoughRidersTV  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not sure when they changed. A friend bought a 10x10 and his had rope as well instead of the nylon straps. I really liked that they included quality straps to go with the canopy...too bad that is not an option any longer. I did buy a 15x15 about 2 years ago and it had the straps.

    How can the cover be cleaned?

    • @RoughRidersTV
      @RoughRidersTV  ปีที่แล้ว

      Since the cover can be removed from the frame easily, we just pull it off and lay it out on the drive way and hose it down as needed.

    Thanks for review, is it still holding up?

    • @RoughRidersTV
      @RoughRidersTV  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yep. Liked it so much, but the 10x15 version as well. Use them both fairly often through the summer, fall and spring. Too much snow for camping in the winter.

    I'm thinking of getting one of these. The bag looks huge. How long is it? I'm not sure if will fit in my trunk or even the back seat of my car. Thanks for the video!

    U think steel is more sturdy than aluminum? And have your steel got any rust ? It says 1.7 outer legs and 1.5 inner legs cant find that same one ..how u tested on heavy rains ?

    • @RoughRidersTV
      @RoughRidersTV  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hello, thanks for the comment. Yes, this is most definitely stronger and more sturdy than our previous canopy. I can't say we have tested in heavy rains but we have tested in medium level rains and it held up great with no leaks at all so I am sure that even heavy downpours would not cause it to leak. Now, I would also say that with open sides, you would still get wet so having sidewalls would be important to staying completely dry. Winds though could be an issue if you don't stake it down. We liked this canopy so much we actually bought a 2nd one that is the 10x15 model and will be using them both on an up coming camping trip. I don't know if they changed the model numbers or anything but this appears to be similar to the one we bought. www.amazon.com/Eurmax-Premium-Instant-Aluminum-Commercial/dp/B00H1NZ41E/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=eurmax+hex+leg+canopy&qid=1590180298&sr=8-1 Note, I am not in any affiliate programs so I am not getting paid when people buy it....so I really have no motive to try and push this on anyone. Hope this helps.

    Are the legs steel, or aluminum. Eurmax makes several different models, wondering which one this is. Possibly tbe premium? Thanks

    • @RoughRidersTV
      @RoughRidersTV  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is the steel hex leg model. Which means it is heavy but damn sturdy.

  • @Just4AdventureFun

    Looks heavy.Are you able to carry it or do you need two people? Good video btw!

    • @RoughRidersTV
      @RoughRidersTV  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Jamey Lemken it is on the heavy side at around 40lbs or so. However the wheels carry the load and being big can go over grass and shirt easily.

    • @Just4AdventureFun
      @Just4AdventureFun 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Rough Riders thanks! I will mostly use it for the beach so being lightweight and durable is a must. We used a undercover 10x10 last time and loved it just looking to see if there was something comparable. I appreciate the video.

    • @RoughRidersTV
      @RoughRidersTV  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Just4AdventureFun It is definitely durable but there are lighter weight options out there. However, I think as you go lighter, you lose durability as they use thinner walled materials and lighter fabrics.

    How about links to products reviewed. Kinda seems pointless without

    • @RoughRidersTV
      @RoughRidersTV  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thanks for the comment. I try to provide information on the brand/model as well as the good/bad. While sometimes I forget to include it, I usually try to say where I got it and the MSRP for informational purposes only. I generally don't provide links because I think it's best for people to purchase from their preferred vendor. Where I bought it may or may not be the best place. Unlike some YT reviewers, I don't belong to any affiliate programs nor try to make money off purchases viewers might make. I think it's important for me to remain objective and not be compensated by the manufacturers either directly or through sales. My goal is simply to share what I buy, why I bought it and the things I like and dislike about the items. I try really hard to be open, honest and objective with these product reviews. Thanks again for the comment and watching the video.

    Check out negative comments on Amazon. Looks like they cave in during rain.
    Who make the best canopy for rain?

    • @RoughRidersTV
      @RoughRidersTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I've used it plenty of times in the rain without issue. We do tuck pool noodles up in the corners to keep rain from pooling up though.

    • @stephaniekidoodles7655

      I have had one for 2 years. It does get water accumulated in the corners but has not buckled. There are ways to reduce the water collection too.
