@@PaulFoye I think he hit the ground hard with everything, they were going pretty full gas it seemed when it happened, did you see the other DSM rider as well? How he didn't come down at the same time.
@jackhills2713 I'll be there, heading over to Avening for about 12.30pm first to watch them head up Tetbury Hill and then going to high-tail it over to Uley to watch them get up Crawley or possibly across to Selsley to watch the descent past the Bell which will be a bit hairy I reckon.

Was at the Great Orm a couple of years ago, also spent all week watching great racing in Glasgow and Stirling at the world's. Went to watch the start and finish on Sunday but I'm sorry to say with the race profile being so flat and predictable I don't have much interest until the Welsh stage.
Olav Kooij looks like he bears at least some of the blame for the DSM rider's crash, Kooij seemed to dip the shoulder and move right which forced him onto the kerb

There were roadworks in the Tour de France. At least the road wasn’t full of drunk fat men trying to outrun them and getting in the way with silly placards.
I've watched every Tour of Britain since 2013 but i must say this is the most boring so far i will keep watching hoping it will improve but i cant see it improving much with so many uneventful flat stages.

Sadly this race is utterly ruined by the inconsiderate amateur cyclists that turn up to watch. They leave tons of litter and use the road like a race track when it is re-opened to the public. Amateur cyclist should remember there are other road users and it is not an amateur cycle race track. If you want this banned your going about it the right way.
Rest dayat the Vuelta, there fore with more attention on the race. Boring flat stage.... After the cancellation debacle last year, the ToB is not covering itself in glory....
