    Jumbo Visma made it three in a row. Wow. TJV are Gladiators who show absolutely no no mercy

    Danny miscalculated that one😬 He expected Olav to go right only to find Wout's wheel. Love this for TJV 💪🏾 Absolute beasts!!

    Who else has noticed Tom Pitcock keeps moving himself up in the GC on these sprint stages? For a non-sprinter finishing in the top 6 is impressive on a stage like this! Tom's my tip for GC based on the first 3 stages.

    Course is turning the event into like a Deluxe 3rds and juniors road race tactic wise.

    This tour is always a missed opportunity. If the only way of funding this race is to go cap in hand to councils, having stages finish in cities/large towns, we’ll always get sprint finishes only. There’s ample tough climbs in Britain for the real talent, Wout, Tom, to mix it up more. A USP would have the race run over permanent fixed stages taking in arduous hilly climbing stages in the highlands of Scotland and the Lake District in England with transfers to our biggest cities of London, Birmingham (wups) and Manchester.

      Very frustrating. They could perhaps start in Sheffield, Manchester, York, etc, where there are decent climbs within 30 miles. Why don't they start from those sort of places?

    • @andrewbrown5300
      @andrewbrown5300 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ever thought they might want to go somewhere different? They’re always going to go to somewhere in Yorkshire due to the high turnout. Usually they miss East Yorkshire with these events

    and the next 3 stages are also likely to be boring sprints. Crazy to be transferring cyclists between every stage and have this as the route. They must be actively seeking out locations for boring finishes. i know they can't send the riders up an alp but on the car journey from Wrexham to Goole they have driven past loads of towns with a good kicker that would make a much more interesting finish.

    Sprint finishes might be exciting for a few seconds, but they tend to make stages boring. This race should perhaps be renamed Sprinters' Tour of Britain. It's the hard stages that make the TdF, Vuelta, Giro and other big tours REALLY exciting.

    Are the on bike cameras broken? Why so much zoom? We can see their genitalia better than what's going on on the road (unless that's the angle the director is going for).
