Saskatchewan Had the Blues

What a way to kick off the season. It’s hard to imagine that a stable franchise like the St. Louis Blues were on the verge of relocating to Saskatoon. Either that or contracting and not having a franchise entirely.
Who knows what would have happened if the Blues did move to Saskatoon? I think they would have been in Saskatchewan until the 90s, then moved back to St. Louis. I would like to see an NHL team in Regina or Saskatoon Saskatchewan. A rivalry would be born with the Blues in a way.
