Something about Shelby’s name attached makes this car even more perfect. I’ve always loved corvettes most but I’ll take a Shelby over them any day
You got a great spirit. Thanks for the vids and lessons man.
Yours is sick! The hood looks amazing
Dead o n the review and love the car 🤩
I put the Gen 2 MGW in my R. Best mod hands down. Haven’t missed a shift since.
I got the whirling sound after hard driving one day and decided upgrade was necessary. Also, missed shifts are embarrassing and you won’t miss a shift with the MGW
Beautiful car man! Appreciate your video.
Appreciate it!
Picking up mine tomorrow. 2019 performance blue with 20k. Love your channel.
Good choice!
I love your car, brother. But I prefer the power, heated/cool seats. They feel comfortable and still hold me nicely. I have a black 2017 gt350. Love your channel, my man. Keep em coming!
Appreciate that man!
Same here.
Do you daily yours?
Since you have a 17 when buying a used one what are things to look for? The one I’m looking at is a 2017 with 49k miles.
@@E85_STI mine had 24k on it so I was mostly looking at the carfax, cosmetic issues if any and condition of the interior. It’s hard to spot any potential problems on such a low mileage vehicle imo.
Great video brother, im about to buy one myself!
Right on!
Say bro that Target that’s over there close by Spring high school. It’s a great spot to take pictures of your car back there. I used to skate there from 09 up to 2015.
I’m new to the area so had no idea haha
My boy love those air quotations 😂😂😂
That Mustang sure looks nice in yellow! 😊
Just picked up my 2016 Shelby GT350 a couple of days and I love it. Watching your videos inspired me to get one, and now I have my dream car thanks to you
Congrats brotha 😎🙏
Hey can I ask, what can I do to afford one. They’re not unrealistically priced but they’re not low either. Is there anything you can give me. I really, truly want a gt350 not even the R just a gt350.
I’m going to be getting one this spring, i be watching your videos daily for motivation so thanks a lot for the content brotha 🙏🏽
Np man! 😎🤝
same!!!
Get it. I’m chillin on a roof top at a restaurant and keep glancing down in the lot to look at mine… beautiful and can’t wait to leave here to listen to it serenade me home.
Bro did you get it?
Looking to upgrade from my 2016 gt to a gt350 this year let’s hope everything falls into place 🤞 love the car
Rooting for ya! 🙏
That is my goal as well selling my 15 GT I loved the car but I bought a new truck and plan to buy a gt350 hopefully in a year or 2
All Gen 1 cars had an engine oil cooler. Non track pacs did not have the trans and diff coolers only. Also tech pack cars came with same magnaride suspension as track pack. I also have a 16’ and it burns no oil whatsoever.
How do you get it inspected w/o cats? Just curious. Love the content on your channel. 👍👍
$100 bill lol
@@EarsPOV I figured. I work at an auto parts store and know a few shop owners that will let me slide. That's getting harder and harder to come by though 😔
S550’s in general also have a few common issues, the Windows love to freak out and go up and down, the roof liner by the windows sags, the rattles at 2.5k, the earlier ones had some issues with the hood paint and the hood lift. They need catch cans, and for the love of god as you said CHANGE YOUR OIL PEOPLE.
Mine had a Hood Paint issue so I just got a Carbon Hood lol
Looking to upgrade from my Mazda to 2020 gt 350
Trading my C8 for one of these here soon. Going 2018+ so I can get the ESP warranty for peace of mind
No bs literally buying 2016 gt350 Friday 😮💨
Congrats!
how much u buy it for and how many miles
I’m going to test drive a 2016 tomorrow. I doubt I’ll leave without it.
Hope everything checks out!
Getting 1 this yr.
You got this! 🙏
What area are you in? I’m in the DFW area
That's a 33k motor replacement if she blows, oof. Gen 1 Voodoo's are melting down like crazy, Gen 2's seem to have fixed the issue. Good luck and hope you don't have any issues.
Where are you getting your information from? The forum riders?
And the ones that have were starved for oil because owners weren’t aware of oil consumption which is normal up to a qt for 500 miles. it’s not the motor it’s lack of awareness of oil levels from owners. just another quirk of the car but have always check oil level. Have a 19 and no oil consumption yet (only had for 500 miles so far)
Correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t Gen 2 voodoo literally fucking breaks in half because of low rpms? Alumminator might be the move or gen 3 swap lol
Los quiero todos los carros están COOL 😎 ❤
I want to trade my 2022 ford rcsb 5.0 fx4 for a 2014-2020 gt350. I wanted to whipple the truck, but I really want to own a gt350 before they rise up in price.
That’s a clean Shelby btw I have a 96 mustang gt is it worth boosting like a supercharger or a Turbocharger?
Yea the 2V is a solid motor despite what people say.
@@EarsPOV awesome gonna start working on it and prepare the engine for boost
Nice car. I am looking to buy one, but they are not easy to find.
Lots of 350’s to be had, but you got to look cross country. Mustang auto trader is best.
Does your FP short throw rattle? Any nvh? Thinking about it for mine
Nvm I kept watching lol sounds like you do get a
Buzz
Yes it does bc of the nut that gets loose
This may be a random wuestion but how tall are you and if youre like 6 foot or taller how does it feels driving im 6'3 and ive only been in a challenger and it felt kinda tight in there and just wanted to know if I should expect the same feeling
As long as you aren't "wide" you will have no problems
@@EarsPOV Ok cool thanks
I thought about getting a 24 mustang gt or Mach 1 then I seen the gt350 going for about the same price as the Mach idk yet I want the 350 but I don’t kno how to drive a manual but want to learn heard the Mach 1 is easier to learn to drive manual in over the gt350 what you think
Same transmission, the Mach has rev match down shifting making it much easier to downshift for beginners and the Coyote makes better torque which helps. If it’s your only car, get a Mach 1 as the Coyote is more forgiving and doesn’t need as much attention.
@@169abr Thanks man really needed that advice
Both are relatively easy but the Mach 1 has more assist features.
Why hasn’t the body shop painted the hood yet?
What?
I keep hearing the same regeritated Gen 1 Gen 2 debate that is repeated. As a 2018 GT350 owner where can i find the reliability differences that show it? Ford changed the block because of the GT 500 not because of reliability issues. Its was for production cost cutting. Not that is a not a stronger block, but does it matter? When these cars first came most owers were unaware of the MORE upkeep these motors were. Plus the issue of the cannister filters was changes due to vibration loosing them....Im just curious where your getting info from?
A quick Google search can prove there’s difference between Gen 1 & Gen 2 internally. Not all Gen 1’s burn oil and not all Gen 2’s are impervious to it either.
@@EarsPOV I know there internal minor changes. That's not the concern, we all know that. They are using the GT 500 block plus some other tweaks. I guess my question is for that quick Google search what do I look up to show the percentage of gen 1 failures relative to gen 2 failures. Can you post the link where your getting the information from?
The 2019 & 2020’s basically have the 350R internals.
@@michaelschultz1104 there is no difference between the base and the R motors. Where are you getting this info from? The 2016-18 all have gen 1 and 2019-20 all have gen 2. The only differences for the R is wheels, aero, suspension and rear seat delete in some. Some lates 18s can have the gen 2. If you’re gonna buy do your own research, don’t listen to random comments.
@@ericm8368 After timing the cams and torquing the cam caps, it’s time to bolt on timing chain guides. Then the teams manually verify the roller finger followers are functioning properly. After testing the torque required to turn the crankshaft 16 times and verifying the lash adjuster setup, on go the Ti-VCT mechanisms, the timing chain guides, and the timing chains. A little something we learned during this process is that the R-model Voodoo engines receive unique lash adjusters, VCT mechanisms and cam covers, and these engines carry code 151.
Forgot to mention the panel gaps. Most of them have them (pretty normal, sadly) but some of them are AWFUL. One of the reasons why I was turned off, although if you get black you can't see them 😂
I mentioned the bumper sag but yea it’s a Ford issue. I saw it on the 2024 Mustang too smh 🤦♂️
@@EarsPOV yeah man it's crazy. I looked at 3 before I just gave up lol. All of them were 2019/2020s too.
Are you going to boost your gt350
Yes but not as soon as I thought bc I’m dialing in the 2V first bc that’s technically my daily lol
A 2019 with 30k miles for around $45k sound reasonable? Clean Carfax
Yes that’s a good deal
@@EarsPOVthank you sir 🫡
Keep looking I just seen some for 45k with less the 10k miles
@@josephbaker5738
Where!? I search weekly and have never seen a 350 under 45k with less than 25k miles!
@@jasonlommen4769remember the mileage isn’t all that matters fellas. You want an owner who babied that thing.
