    Recently traded my wife's 392 Durango because of constant issues 2021 we bought new, vehicle has 30k miles when we traded it and we had replaced the radiator, harmonic balancer, driver side door module and had several of the exterior lights replaced because they burnt out. All fully covered under warranty but not having the vehicle more than we had it. Probably a Friday built vehicle before a holiday weekend. I feel for you buddy, use that warranty for all its worth.

      Sadly, lots of GT350s have reliability issues. And the Voodoo engine is not cheap. Definitely a hard pass.

    Maybe Driveshaft issue? I put a carbon fiber one in my Boss302TT and that thing bounced so damn much, I went back to the stock dual shafts. Ridiculous! I hope your issue gets resolved bro. It sucks not having the car available, I’m sure.

    I absolutely loved and miss my gt350. But one of the reasons I got rid of it after 5 years is because it started having problem after problem 😢

    I’ve had a couple of bad experiences buying used. You just don’t know how it’s been treated. I knew I wanted a Whippled 10R80 mustang could of bought a used one with a Whipple on it already but decided to buy brand new and build it myself. 3 years later zero issues.

    Doesn’t sound too bad, at least they seemed to figure out the issue..I’ve seen issues that are never worked out by the dealer you either have to fix it yourself or get rid of it..

    If it's certified pre-owned as you said, they should have caught that 🤷🤷guess it all depends on the shop and person working on and certifying the car. Thing is though, they are supposed to change all shocks as a unit, but again, same as I said earlier.

    You really gotta watch what you buy and you gotta know what you’re buying and you gotta know who owned it prior to. That’s the hard part you wanna make sure you don’t buy a tracked car specially at 350 otherwise they’re beautiful cars.

    Have them check if the rear subframe is bolts are fully tightened. I had a Mach 1 that had that issue and the rear end would wiggle. I got rid of mine after a few months because of issues but mine had a previous accident I found out was worse than I was initially told.

    • @dbrabas
      @dbrabas  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That’s literally what they found, there was a missing bolt on the rear end where someone added ford performance non-magnaride lowering springs so they need to replace everything now.

    • @CouchMan88
      @CouchMan88 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@dbrabas I will say Ford is pretty good about taking care of the problems under warranty. I did get to the end of the video where you mentioned that just make sure to mention the subframe bolts specifically so they double check that. I think when other stuff in the rear goes bad the vibrations loosen the bolts. Mine also had bad sway bar links and a control arm bushing as well. After I had mine repaired it drove fine, it was just some rear end damage that was poorly repaired that caused me to have the dealer buy it back from me. Otherwise it was an awesome car.

      @@CouchMan88 carfax was clean but CARFAX doesn’t show everything so I’ll ask them to check for previous damage

      @@dbrabas My suggestion is to take it to a body shop and have them do a quick look at the car. They can usually tell if an area has been painted right away. The body lines aren’t as sharp on an area that has had body work done because of the sanding and thicker paint.
      I think in your case it was just the suspension not done properly. Once you get all the rear suspension fixed I have a feeling the car will be fine. Mine felt so much better after having the rear suspension and subframe tightened. Just be glad you got it from a Ford dealership and not some shady used car lot where they don’t take care of any issues. You will be good after it’s all fixed. Don’t forget to keep an eye on the oil level as well. I know they burn a bit of oil, don’t let it get too low. Wish you well, hopefully it all works out and you can enjoy the car!
