I think I found a way to counter USJ gauged into ultimate arts, by bringing a unit that has the instant save like Yel Zenkai Perfect Cell, you make them waste both of his unique gauge charges (I know the ultimate is a one time draw).
Or forced to run MVP 17. Get it 50% off damage and a small heal on ult for the team.
He has cover null for 5counts on entry. Mvp needed to cancel buffs

Kid Goku is really good and the equipment that they dropped saved to DB Celebration in my opinion. Its really sad though how this is the first release of the Sagas from Movies celebration and it already eclipses the entirety of the DB celebration...

Don’t think he’s no. 1 he doesn’t have the utility goFrieza has but janemba certainly is the hardest hitting unit in the game. But I will say the best way to play against him is to just get his gauge out of the way ASAP then take the ult when he has hardly any build up so u can tank it especially if u have a green or have 17 buff cancelling. Tho janemba forcing u to use a green or 17 to deal with him shows how good he is

The fact that it does not destroys all the blast cards and is still toxic(UGB destroys strike art card ) shows how strike oriented the meta is. One more thing broly can be counter to his ultimate if cover null is not active

A great counter to that man's gauge when dealing with the damage is funny enough the ex ssb goku. For some reason he's just really good at tanking his crap compared to literally everyone else and I love it! Also purple boujack, but yeah that's a different story with him.
He has high base defense and 70% damage reduction, so why is he kinda squishy?
I really reccomend running him with zenkai yellow cell because if u are facing an enemy janemba u can just use cell's vanishing Cover change and then the free ult of janemba is worthless

I’d say Revival UI is probably the best counter to Ultra Janemba, being a green unit with high vanish restoration capabilities and being a primarily blast unit, plus having a long range blue when revived.
Incoming LF Green Super Gogeta or Tag Goku and Vegeta with Standby with Pikkon that fuse into Gogeta to counter this Janemba. The inevitable advent of this LF Super Gogeta will be our savior!

Im seeing alot of people saying rose is a hard counter to this guy but i just disagree, janemba released in a meta full of top tier purple units that just shred ultra rose. While rose is a 1 on 1 counter to him, you cant really consider that good in this meta when you can just switch into purple cell, ginyu, kid goku or gokufrieza and watch rose get incinerated in like 4 cards. I think not enough people rate units based on the units that surround them and support them.

Janemba's gauge does not counter ultimates. You had an example done on you in ine of the earlyest matches.
