They're very aesthetically pleasing, they really feel like a Goku and Vegeta, friends, cooperating to win a tough fight. I'll never forgive legends for not buffing their units in a traditional style, they need a complete rework in order to be good. An unit that's supposed to be comboing for long periods of time to build their switch gauge needs base high ki recovery, cost reduction, card draw sleed, a green card drawing cards, the cover null... I was so hyped for them and couldn't even enjoy

Not bad damage though, would be insanely good against someone who doesn’t go Type Neutral though

I played them alongside Beast and Evoken during Legends Fest in PvP. I was never a high ranker, but it was a pretty fun team where Evoken or the Goku side comboed forever while I built Gohan more defensive
As you mentioned at the end, it indeed is just sad. Such a cool unit, literally a fan favorite and they got dumped so hard right on the beginning and now they just collecting dust.
BuuBros are only held back by Vegeta Side of things. If he had one level of card draw and gained more Ki on swap bro would be good. With the equip their damage isn’t horrible they just rely on Goku side too much. It makes you not want to swap out since Goku is just far and beyond better than Vegeta in every way. Also their blue not nullifying Endurance while also having I way to restore vanish is wild. BuuBros Goku is actually good it’s the Vegeta side of the unit that’s hot dookie water
Vegeta trades combo potential for defensive mechanics, except said defensive mechanics only work when he uses cards. Which means not only does he not get as much mileage out of it due to his shorter combos, but in times when he'd actually need the ability (when he's caught in a combo) it doesn't help him at all. It's genuinely such backwards design. Give him baseline draw speed, a mini-disrupt that resets every tag-switch (similar to how Goku refreshes cover-null every tag-switch) alongside other defensive mechanics like arts power down and ki reduction when being hit and the unit would feel infinitely more cohesive while sticking to what they intended (as in, Goku does damage and Vegeta takes the hits).
The bad damage on the Transcendent Kamehameha in the first match was because when Goku came in it technically counted as a swap so Super 17 was type neutral for the hit.
I would like to see a standby mechanic with full power ss4 and majuub. once the preparation happens Majuub has to defend for a couple timer counts and gets major defense buff then once its over ss4 full power is glowing red and gains major offensive buffs and removes enemy gauge and locks them in or something awesome and his bluecard/ult is the full power red kamehameha x10,
maybe they're saving revisiting the ascended ability for the Saiyan saga campaign and there could be a tag lf Goku and piccolo where piccolo goes into preparation with the special beam cannon, and then so on.
I feel like they can do the preparation mechanic with an LF Tag Goku, Gohan, and Krillin spirit bomb, A LF Revival Nappa into Vegeta, comeback mechanic with Tien and Chiaotzu, just a regular Yamcha 😭

Bro, the transcendent Kamehameha not killing super 17 on two separate occasions is so wild to me. That mechanic is what you spend the entire fight trying to build up to and not being able to kill a red character is crazy
It was type neutral because Super 17 gains type neutrality when the enemy switches characters (this includes tag switches) while he's on the field, which is what Goresh missed.
Its a shame that this unit was done dirty. If they could actually do some good damage and have a few tweaks to their kit, they could've been a well designed unit.
I don't understand how they did everything wrong with this unit, gave them nothing they needed in their kit while almost every other LF gets almost everything they need, and then have the gull to give them extra cards on switch for their goddamn unique equipment like that was their fucking problem.

Not tryna be the guy who accept bad things, but i got really lucky and got him to 6* in like 5k ish cc. I had fun with them on release, vegetas damage reduction and locking, the aoe was fun. Cool unit
Also this new meta suck hopefully the anniversary can fix this meta maybe making an ultra that nullifies special abilities from other ultras like gohan ssj2 ultra instinct janemba etc
