    I feel like ninja sword is a perfect fit for Mind's Eye play style with its long blue sharpness and since you don't need to hit weakpoints in order to crit. That also makes Sneak Attack quite fitting which comes along with the Adrenaline Rush. So I would try to aim for Attack Boost, Crit Boost, Mind's Eye, Sneak Attack, Adrenaline Rush and Offensive Guard. Since most of these skills are percentage based I wouldn't bother with rampage deco slot and go straight for the base raw damage increase. +15 base raw is actually +5% damage increase with no condition also Buddy Rally is pretty decent rampage skill if you're using palamutes even thou it's not damage directly dealt by you. Anyway It would create unique playstyle that could possibly match certain monsters that don't have easily reachable weakpoints or so.

      @SKY85sr  ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I have tried a Mind's Eye/Sneak Attack build with the Ninja Master Sword. In order for the build to work, you have to constantly strike a hitzone on the back that is as close to 37 as possible, but not exceeding 37. Unfortunately, none of the monsters in the game really fit these criteria. Additionally, sns benefits a lot more when attacking from the front because of KOs, so I don't see Sneak Attack being too useful for sns in general unless you want to really farm tails or something.

    I loved this sns is base rise a lot. Whether green bludg or blue master touch build. I tried to make it work in sunbreak but it fell off real quick. If it had white with handi, i might make a set made but it’s honestly not worth it. Keep hoping as quiros crafting gets better it might be decent but nothing as of TU3. Still the best fashion sns though

    i used handicraft 1, to get 10 hits of blue sharpness, that combod with masters touch, thats 50 hits of blue
    in High Rank it was very nice, but in Sunbreak, its outright terrible, nobody should be running blue sharpness, it would be far more viable if 1 level of handi could give it 10 hits of white, but no 🤷‍♂

    Long time SNS player here.
    Unlike many here, I actually didn't start using ninja sword until title update 2.
    As the monsters got stronger, random teammates died faster, hence quest failures.
    Many seem to forget SNS could deal damage, stun AND help heal/boost att/def. The only weapon that can use items with weapon out.
    Here's one of my pre 3.0 sets that I use to help out in team situations
    Main skills are:
    Agitator 5, guard 5, wide-range 5, att boost 4, defiance 4, crit boost 3, slugger 3, off guard 3, speed eating 3, free meal 3, embolden 3, stun resistance 3, wirebug 2, burst 2, mind's eye 2, guard up, intrepid heart, bird, etc
    You'd be surprised as to how much faster quests can be completed when your teammates don't have to worry ever about healing, unless they get one shot. Also helps when you can KO the monsters 2-3 times.

      Yeah the blue sharpness in the base game was a fair trade for 100% affinity. It allowed you to sacrifice just a bit of dps to open room on your build. I made so many sets. Wide range support, bubbly dance/hellfire, and others, all with maxed attack crit boost and other offensive skills.

    Okay but can we have it as a layered?

  • @Loredotdll
    @Loredotdll 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Okay, sure, but your golden sword only deals that 820 35% of the time. Because of this complication you also have to DECREASE the bonus you get from crit boss by 65% to get the average damage boost, which will be around 1.14, whilst the NMS deals 723 passively. Just nitpicking.
    NMS is good if you want consistent damage and more upkeep on your attacks instead of having to think about crit bonuses, meaning it is a very good choice for beginners that want to learn the weapon far into the game, like I did. MHR is not a difficult game before you reach Master Rank, so I never needed to start making actual builds before it.
    While yes I agree the three level one slots are more or less worthless, unless you want full stun resistance, which again, is a thing newer players want. You also had qurious armourpieces without showing their bonuses, which contradicts with you saying that it is a "stupid mechanic and not worth doing."

    • @Loredotdll
      @Loredotdll 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      And if sharpness damage is so important, why did you not use the Pure Silver Fan Hime? 320 attack, 20 fire, 10 affinity, and what looks like 60-70 hits of purple, 3 level 2 slots, but you need to use qurious for the rampage slot. Overall it is basically the NMS on steroids without the crit chance

    • @SKY85sr
      @SKY85sr  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      So I know you may not want to, but I recommend that you watch my other video called "Another Ninja Master Sword Video." That video is a little more up to date.
      Responding to some of your statements, I'm not sure where you are pulling some of these numbers from. Lunatic Rose can be as strong as the Ninja Master Sword even without weakness exploit. See the video I recommended above.
      I may have said qurious armor crafting is dumb, but I never said it's not worth doing! You can easily qurious craft in an extra level one slot, or craft in a good defensive skill without any downsides. As for not showing all the armor details, I do a better job on this in some of my later videos.
      The Pure Silver Fan Hime was an extraordinary choice back when I made this video. Due to how qurious crafting works now, it's just alright. Not the best at anything.
