Love your style! Run a lead pencil over the teeth of the zippers, that should make the zips move very smoothly. xo
Hi great review thanks just a tip if you run a lead pencil along the zipper it will loosen it up so you don’t have to tug at it. Cheers

Great review ,gorgeous boot! Would you say to definitely go a 1/2 size down? I am usually a 7.5 in most boots, some Italian made I do go down a 1/2 size.
I would say stick to your true size if you have a normal width foot and like to wear socks with them.

@@Angela-vb3tk I think I have it in white 🤔 . While I appreciate what the sales rep is saying re the length, I find it impractical. I wear my items far more when they’re at the right length. It can still be super long (to the floor) but not past your shoes or else you’ll trip.

I am usually 7.5 US but always buy EU 38, found these in 38 in the uk (Italian 38) and they seem big? can you tell me what your box says in Italian size ie 35.5, 36, 37. if you sized down I would like to figure out if I got the wrong size if they fit 1/2 size large. thanks
Hi, sorry for the delay! I purchased the size 36. That’s what the size is on the box. My typical size is 36.5

I would take your true size if you have a wider foot and then you should be ok.
How do these wear do they scuff easily and what is your biggest concerns when wearing them for long periods of time?
They do scuff - not the leather part but the sole. They don’t offer a lot of support for long walks (no arch support) but overall they’re comfortable.
Hi, do you think the nylon version of these is good for winter?
I find the sole too slippery for winter in general.
I got my true size. The only thing is around my ankle it so tight and I am losing my mobility when I walk, a bit uncomfortable as it's hard around the zipper. Is it normal?
Yes some people have struggled with the ankle - it’s absolutely snug in this style. Some have said their leather has stretched a little. If it hurts, I’d consider getting it professionally stretched.
@@NeelamAhooja That's a good advice. I have a wide feet, also my Achilles was keep rubbing and it cause the friction. My guess is the length is not true to size. I am 6.5 and have wide feet so I chose the true to size. I do not think I would size down as the ankle is already so tight. I wonder how it fits to others. Do they ever get super comfortable at some point as you wear them more?
I've been lusting after these for years and finally bought them but the break in period has been rough. Did your boots stretch at all? If yes, where? I'm typically a 37 but sized down to a 36.5 because my feet were sliding around too much in the 37. I hope it gets better! Or I just have to accept that the shape of my foot isn't suited for these boots :(
Where does it feel uncomfortable? I find them decently comfortable, just heavy. Are they tight in the width? Might be worth getting them professionally stretched.

It’s a tough one. If you have a wide/normal foot then stick with your regular size. They may slip out as you walk but that seems to be happening to many people.
are those boots heavy like Bottega ones or pretty light like Prada?
They’re heavy but not sure if they’re heavier than the lug Pradas.
I find The Row & Toteme are revisiting Old Celine & regurgitating many of their looks. Old Celine already did these boots.
Oh yes and many other styles as well. Phoebe was an absolute genius. Designers borrow ideas all the time. I’m happy to see old ideas reinvented by new designers.
