I was looking into these loafers for a while. I typically wear a US men's size 9/EU 42. Would you say 41.5 be good to size down? I have a pretty standard width foot. Thanks!
I love all your reviews so thank you! Do you ever style your Canal loafers with socks or tights? They're non-traditional, and in photos I always seem to see them sans socks/tights. Now that it's getting chilly, this would be my go to.
Hi! Yes I absolutely do - I have a pair of Falke socks that are short and I wear them with the loafers and skirts.
@@NeelamAhooja That's sort of hilarious because I have a pair here and waiting on a half size down to arrive to compare but have been experimenting with black Falke wool socks in the meantime. I guess it's meant to be. :)

Great review thank you! Have you found these have stretched much? I tried my size and it feels ok, maybe a little wide. A half size down is pretty snug.
I may trade mine for a half size down. I have a very narrow foot though so I can get away with it. For a normal foot, I stick with your true size and put an insole in.
Great style and review ❤could you tell please, is that loafers stretched Mutched? I Tried them in 37,5, in white, it’s ok, but I think they will stretch. That’s why i’m thinking of size. If it will stretch, then I prefer 37 for me. 😊thank you
They do stretch - if you have a narrow foot and can fit into the 37, stick with that size. The leather is super soft.

Would you recommend getting these in brown suede? how have they held up now after a year?
I don’t usually do suede in shoes but I do like the look of them and have contemplated it. The Canals are a very soft leather so they look worn quickly. Maybe the suede would hold up nicely.
if you spray suede with soft moc 365 nothing will hurt them! works like a charm.@@NeelamAhooja also thanks this was helpful. i ended up ordering the suede.

The Cary. Classic shape and comfortable.

@@lilyjaraha yes, the Soft loafer has a rounded toe. I prefer Canal and Cary.

That’s the first time I’ve heard that. Most people size down a half.
