Burning up the clutch, can't close the door, no reverse lights, but a nice looking car. Those doors never shut right. Wasnt the Bandit car a 6.6 litre?
Nice - Pontiac V8 power A Stroker Stock Block 400 - 455 Can get you 474 + ci. with 600 pump gas + HP Butler etc. if you want to go bigger one 76 T/A Has a Butler 829 pump gas hp - 535 ci. IA II Aluminum Pontiac Aftermarket Block etc.ððð
Love it! I had a 78 Trans Am when in Vegas in the early to mid 80s. It wasn't restored like yours but was a good straight driver. It had a street built 1973 SD 455 with 6X heads along with other goodies installed backed by a built turbo 350 trans with 3:42 posi gears. IIRC 2200 rpm converter I estimate 400 to 450 HP range. It was fun and you may have seen it around? Black Bandit complete with T-Tops. I sure miss it along with the cute little blond girlfriend I had.
@Anarchylabz ok, that sounds right, we have 20k in ours, and it's ready for paint and interior. Ours was an old drag car, so it probably was in worse condition than normal. Yours turned out beautiful, hopefully, our dose to
I would love to have my black 78 TA back now ... and modify that lame TA 200 hp engine using modern technologies. That car handled and was comfy ... just needed more power. Mine was a WS6
0:07 I bet his mechanic is looking forward to replacing all those burned-out clutches.
@@chaseme9860 Ain't that the truth lol

That was painful to watch him backing it out of the garage...
Most slipped clutch ever.

I can smell it from here.
Beautiful âĪ! Keithpausch ð
Beautiful car
Pontiac knocked it out of the park with the second generation I have a second gen Camaro I'm so jealous
Beautiful car. Like the hood "decal" idea of it being painted. Is it possible to paint the "Trans Am" words as well?
SchÃķnes Auto hÃĪtte ich auch gern in meiner Garage.

I can smell the clutch from here!! What a waste of a beauty
Burned out headlight burned out reverse lights missing decals on the sail panel and rear spoiler and soon to be burned out clutch.
Worst driver Iâve seen in a very long time. So bad, it completely ruins the whole vibe. Shame too because that was a nice car.
Nice car but not a single shot of the interior in the entire 6 minute video other than the door opening.
@zackery5411 yeah between the 2 cars didn't have the time.
If you are going to own a TransAm with a 4 speed, learn how to drive a stick shift- that poor Trans Am.
