This is beyond hilarious!!!!! How clever! Do you ever order cardstock for yourself? Do you ever run out???? I have to think a little bit more like you instead of wasting cardstock. Thank you Connie for another great video and great cards!
I always die cut the center out of all my matting layers with a rectangular die. I then have a smaller mat ready & 2 out of one! Especially important for more expensive Glitter cardstock. Thank you Connie new subbie ❤
Yay! Thank you for these wonderful ideas using the Christmas Classics bundle. Just what I've been looking forward to. Do you have any ideas on how to use the long die pieces that come in this bundle? One has 3 rows of dots/shapes on it and one has 2 rows. At 11:43 they are on the bottom left. I have watched several videos on this bundle and haven't seen anyone use these yet. I made one card where I die cut the one that has 3 rows several times end to end along the bottom of the card front. Then I glued a strip of gold glitter cardstock along the bottom of the inside of the card so it showed through the holes on the front of the card. I feel like there must be many more beautiful, creative ways to use these, but haven't thought of any more yet.
This is a very good video on how to get the most out of your DSP! I would however, start by showing how you cut up your designer series paper. I am assuming that you can get all three cards out of one sheet of 8 1/2 x 11, or 12 x 12? Am I correct? Seeing the way you take one sheet of paper and cut it up could be very helpful for new people Involved in stamping. For myself, I have been stamping and making cards for over 30 years, so I have lots of paper to use up. TFS!❤
You are the queen of paper saving!!
