Even though lots of Chinese and Japanese write bad comments on Hyundai in youtube, Hyundai ‘s selling is ever growing and now they became #3 top selling automaker in the world following Toyota and VW group.
I think the main problem with Hyundai is their poor service center, there are very few official vehicle centers around the globe thus Hyundai owners have difficulty finding a mechanic that can fix their Hyundai if it breaks down. Another one is their spare parts and accessories are not easilly accessible in the market unlike Japanese cars like Toyota or Mitsubishi that their products can easily be found on small distributors and shops locally
It’s also their reliability. Their warranty says 10 years, but they’ll do everything they can to not follow that warranty. Come up with any excuse to not repair the vehicle. There are also news of a $50,000 battery repair for a small scratch at the bottom for the Inoniq 5. Their cars are awesome at first glance, but you’re playing a risky game thinking that there won’t be any more problems down the road you have to spend out of pocket.

Great review. Love the detail, without drama. You obviously know what you are doing -- and it helps people understand clearly what the cars you review offer. Thanks much!
Finally! I've been waiting for someone to review this car forever. It's still the best value for dollar sport sedan. Sure you could buy an N but that price jumps up $12K! And if you're not driving it on the track all the time it's pointless. The N-Line is the one to get.
Stunning paint job by Hyundai... quite akin to Audi A7... in-car cam angle slightly to the left would've been great to accommodate the digital dash and shifts...
I initially did not like all the "angles" when this generation came out but it is growing on me, however, I am not a big fan of green color but to each their own.
Great review of this. The lines on the Elantra are kick ass. I prefer the pre facelift version with the ultra aggressive front but this still looks fine.
I literally can't find press releases for this trim anywhere, and it's not on Hyundai's website. That being said, I'm disappointed that this still has the 7 speed DCT. I wish they swapped to the much better 8 speed auto like they did in the Kona.
I’ve said this before but. They should really consider a performance pack, slightly sportier tires and suspension tuning, Add LSD on the dual clutch unit. It would turn this into an SI killer, and an integra killer, with out making the price at a point that doesn’t make sense.
@@vroomgcno the N is a lot more power, a good chunk more expensive(prone to markups) higher insurance different suspension, all I’m saying is lsd and minor tuning tweeks to the current structure.

@@AHNDRX N-Line sits between the regular Elantra and the N model. So a sportier and quicker version of the base Elantra but a step down in performance from the N
Sick car! Not a Tesla fan boy but I gotta say, kinda annoying that no one doesn’t talk about the awful panel gaps from huge ones on the hood and basically touching panels on the rear quarter panels but since it ain’t a Tesla, so nobody cares 😒 let’s stay consistent…
Damn, you’re very well knowledgeable about that car and it’s brand new 2024 that’s good. I’m impressed with this little car. I had a 2022 Honda Civic sport touring hatch. I had to sell it because my dog was real sick. I needed the money for her medical. When I buy another car, I’ll put this on my list for a maybe!
I genuinely would probably be happier with this over the N, it just seems like a better package with a lot of fun still, it’s crazy how they can get 201 HP out of a 1.6 when my 2.0T in my jeep makes 200HP
Has more features than my Lexus es and makes the same 200hp. My Lexus doesn’t have a telescoping steering wheel amazing to see such a feature in such a class of car. I’d have to test drive to see if it’s worth the upgrade.
No way am I choosing this N-Line over a Honda Civic Si, and I owned a mighty Elantra N for a year. When the thrill is gone, you're left with a poorly built car displaying ominous signs of future mechanical calamity, not to mention a very unfriendly dealership service network.
Theres truth to that. The car kinda lacks a lot of basic features. No one touch up and down for other windows, no rear seat storage, no led lighting no glasses holder etc...
Awesome looking car. Not sure about how it would feel to live with. And in different seasons. Wish there was AWD. I wonder about reliability. But, if it is solid, looks like fun.
Watch for low mileage Elantra N's or Forte GT's. If patient, you can find 1&2 year old, low mileage ones in low $20's. Then laugh at the suckers that paid almost $31K w/ dealer add-ons getting wallet raped.
Yea that’s in normal mode to. There is sport and sport plus mode which makes the performance wicked! I know because I own one. First car that can perform and sip gas almost simultaneously. If you get one? Eliminate the secondary cat with a straight pipe welded in its place will gain you 10 wheel hp! Use a drop in K&N air filter gain another 8-10 hp! Then if you’re mechanically inclined remove the low side fuel restrictor, on the high pressure fuel pump with a possible gain of 15-20 hp. If you’re mechanically inclined again, take the spark plugs out and modify the ground strap and cut it back to about 1/2 of the firing electrode. If done correctly will yield you another 8-10 hp but this takes patience and a steady hand with a Dremel tool. Or a vice and a good flat file. Make sure you pre gap the plugs before you start grinding it. Yep 45-48 +hp with simple mods.
