I have a 2023 N-Line i bought brand new and have absolutely loved it. Just hit 25k miles. Stock for stock I can confirm it's quicker than the SI. The DCT is a little jerky in traffic but you learn to drive around it in a way. Really like the new face lift look, it almost looks like the previous gen Elantra N now 😅.
was a honda boy since high school. Not going to lie I would choose the 7speed DCT elentra over an Civic Si as a daily. Not to mentione this face lift on the N line look really good.
Cheap thrills. Nothing wrong with that at this price point. Looks good and has good features for the money too. Thanks for taking the time to review affordable cars for us, Joe.
Loving the new Hyundai Elantra N-Line & even though it looks cool on the outside I feel like the interior should be a little bit nicer but, it's not meant to be a luxury car, it's supposed to be sporty.
For being $2k less than civic si I think this interior is slightly better in terms of looks and tech but civic has better materials in my opinion but it’s the price you pay for $2000 less
I have an nline and the interior is on point for the price really. It's easily on par with Hondas of a few years ago imo.. the steering wheel is one of the best I've felt in any car I've driven.
I got to test drive a '23 ELantra N-Line when I went to get my Kona N-Line and I almost got that instead. It's super sporty. Anyone who gets this I feel is going to have a great time.
Finally. I love that you could fine one to review Joe. I still say this is the best bang for your buck performants at $30K. BUT if you can pay a couple more thousand you can get the outstanding GTI. I did.
Clean bold design, with the snappy performance to match. Balaced, sharp, and not just the look of it. Glad to see an auto maker not afraid to carve out a spot on lower-budget tier, yet be a prize to their owners nevertheless.
Looks good. The only things i would change is the addition of an lsd, soft touch material at the top of the door panel and a cushioned arm rest on the doors.
Im actually a fan of the side panel of the Elantra. It is very Lamborghini-like in design. Very exotic and aggressive looking. Something different in a seas of blandness.
Man, that Drive Mode button. Adds to the cheap factor. Should be on the steering wheel. And Hyundai needs to start putting their fingerprint scanners for other countries on the center console or something, so we don’t get the leftover, stupid blank spaces on the dash here in the States. At least on some vehicles it’s magnetized to provide some purpose.
Well... idk if you're aware... but this car is meant to be cheap... Regardless of that button, overall the interior is much better than the eyesore that is the gr corolla which costs a lot more
A great review. Regarding 16:50, interestingly in Australia the 2024 Elantra N-Line (known as i30 sedan N-Line in Aust') comes with rear A/C vents in both the base model and the Premium model.
As someone who has the same blue N line but 2023, I love the improvements they’ve added and features they added along side the exterior facelift I totally recommend this car(am going for the 2024 N tho🤪).
Some feedback on the new POV Drive style. I think the 0.5x zoom out if a bit distorted. Try bringing it closer to a 1x so that we can truly see POV. We dont need to see 180 degrees of car all of the time. Just my two cents.
I’m quite impressed with it. It’s got a lot of safety stuff. I was reading about it on their website. I don’t mind hard surfaces plastic. It’s easier to clean than soft. Soft surfaces seem to be harder to clean for some reason.😂
I have a 22 N Line, and I love the redesign. LED headlights and the interior changes are a nice upgrade, but $2000 price tag increase isn’t great to see of course. I don’t like the new wheels though
@aussiefurbymogwaifan6621 on the 15 minute mark on the left side of the steering wheel you'll see the drive mode button in the video. But look up the inside of the 2022 2023 and 2024 Elantra N and all you'll see is a circle with a dash through it and it does literally nothing
Nice to see Hyundai still being competitive. I put 141k on my Genesis coupe 3.8 with some light mods (headers , intake, exhaust), and shes been very reliable. I alway kept up with the maintenance. Had it walnut blasted to clean the carbon out due to the direct injection. I also ended up buying a new 2023 Elantra N DCT last year and love it! Hyundai gets a bad rep imo. Keep up the maintenance and you will be fine
The exterior of the car is nice, the infotainment screen is another story, and when you were revving it, I didn’t like how it sounds like it was hitting something 😮
@Raiti's Rides good review as always. Question, I'm looking forward to buying a new car and trying to find out which car is better for in terms of driving experience, technology and for the money. I was looking at the Honda civic sport, Kia forte gt, and this Hyundai trim but the same trim levels as the other two cars. In your your experience with driving the cars I just mentioned... would appreciate your feedback. Thanks.
The Hyundai ELANTRA N Line has the advantage in the areas of interior volume and base engine power. The Honda Civic Si has the advantage in the areas of reliability, resale value and overall quality score.
Keep at it i was finally able to get one. I looked on google where there are being sold then called the dealership and they happened to have one on the way already
What's unfortunate is that when I asked a dealership if I could test drive one, dude said not without a credit pull. That alone made me not want to get one
I have a 23 elantra n line. Same color. I like it a lot. At first, i hated the new 24 front end. But it is definitely growing on me. But as of now, I am still unsure.
I hope next-gen they replace the 7DCT with their 8 speed auto like they did on the Kona with the 1.6T. I'll tell you what though - I love the design of the new Elantra. It looks really nice in-person, even in base trim.
Current 2018 Elantra DCT owner with 110k miles, Not sure how it is tuned on the 2024 Kona 1.6T but the 8 speed AT on a 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe 1.6T just felt sluggish between shifting compared to the 7 speed DCT. Okay on a boring SUV but would be a downgrade on the Elantra N-Line. Just my 2 cents.
