Is the 2024 Hyundai Elantra N-Line a BETTER new sport sedan than a Honda Civic Si?

  • FIRST DRIVE: The Elantra is getting some BIG changes for 2024 from Hyundai. On the outside of the N-Line you will discover new led lighting, front fascia, badging and wheels. On the inside you will be welcomed by sport seats, (2) 10.25in screens and a large drive mode selector button. Under the hood is a 1.6L turbocharged inline-4 that pumps out 201HP & is mated to a 7-speed DCT. Is the 2024 Hyundai Elantra N-Line a BETTER new sport sedan than a Honda Civic Si?

I have a 2024 Elantra in that color. It's not very purple in person, it's just a really deep and beautiful shade of blue. I can definitely see how it may seem purple though

@Brian_Eugene_LeeUnfortunately Hyundai discontinued the 6-speed manual transmission for the 2023 Elantra N Line. It's only available on the 2021 to 2022 model year cars. I have a 2022 Intense Blue 6-speed and it's a hoot to drive. If you want a manual you have to spring for the full blown Elantra N model and those start around $32-33K.

Loving the new Hyundai Elantra N-Line & even though it looks cool on the outside I feel like the interior should be a little bit nicer but, it's not meant to be a luxury car, it's supposed to be sporty.

Man, that Drive Mode button. Adds to the cheap factor. Should be on the steering wheel. And Hyundai needs to start putting their fingerprint scanners for other countries on the center console or something, so we don’t get the leftover, stupid blank spaces on the dash here in the States. At least on some vehicles it’s magnetized to provide some purpose.

That’s good that you mentioned that Elantra has 1 hp more comparing to Si, but forgot to say that Si has more torque and faster 0-60. I don’t know why, but you are professional so might be you know better

Compact these days is more a suggestion than it is a size class.

ROTFL 😂 😂 😂... The food references though 😂 😂. This and the current Sonata went totally under the radar for me; I saw a review for the Elantra N and that's what I'm going with on the next lease. Sleeper cars that have all the necessary tech and speed without the hefty price.... Wow.

I’ll still take my 2022 N Line over the new redesign. The wheels on the 2024 are too busy and not a fan of the front grill. The 2022 is tougher looking. And I replaced the Hyundai logos and Elantra with all black, max tint on the windows - on a stark white car. Badass looking vehicle!

I had the similar one of this vehicle the 2019 Hyundai Elantra sport with DCT and was the worst car I ever had. The DCT went out at 30k. The paint started peeling at 40k. Ac issues. Breaks would pull to the left and the service department was awful. So happy with my 2024 Honda civic.

N-line in Korea is a 1.6L NA engine without the turbocharger... N-line only offers the appearance resembling N without engine upgrade... Please sell it with a turbo like in the US!!
