still to this day my favorite barenaked ladies song is pinch me that song brings back so many memories and gives off that early 2000s nostalgia i miss that decade
I was just watching that before this song. I saw I had a post of it from like 10 years ago on Facebook. So weird how the band stays the stay the same age in my mind. I like this song, too.
I just saw this , on "Live with Kelly, and Mark"..😮 The weather is windy here, and the station on TV was cutting out, but I found it here on TH-cam! This is great!👍Also, Kelly asked if you all performed naked, and your response was that you did.😂So, keep on performing. " naked" , guys! 😅
I bought the Gordon CD in 1993 on a whim, and found my favorite band of all time. Both of my kid's first concerts were BNL shows and they are life long fans too... Thank you for the music and the feels over the years!
I don't agree that you guys are so much less without Steve. It's more like 50%. BUT. Obviously, I don't know all the backstory, but if it was only drugs and women, why not have him take a break and send him to rehab? Kicking him out of the band seemed such a self-righteous move, defending your "clean" image instead of showing support and compassion for someone close who was obviously not handling fame and fortune well.
It was Steve's decision to leave. With the other guys contributing more songs and banning outside collaborators (some of his best songs were co-written with Stephen Duffy), I think he was probably feeling creatively stifled. The kids albums and and tv show themes were also not really his thing iirc. Now that he's happy with where he's at in his solo career, he's talked about being open to working with the other guys, but they (specifically Ed and Tyler) want nothing to do with it. Sad.
1 John 2:15-17 15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Without Steven Page they are a shell of their former selves!
Make up with Steven Page already you hacks. You're like 5% without him, just a shambling corpse, Walking Dead style without him.
