@@traceythompson1092 As a Canadian everybody I know calls it Kraft Dinner. Weird to hear Kraft Mac and Cheese I don’t think I’ve ever met someone who says that lol. 😂
Yeah me too. I think it's just that they didn't want to say "we'll do it" and then not follow through on it. Kevin Hearns posted a photo of the band on his Instagram but Steven and Ed really didn't look like they were comfortable around each other.
I'll be honest, I only tried one BNL album post-Page, and didn't care for it. But I do really like a lot of the stuff from Page's solo albums. His voice (and songwriting) is the biggest part of what drew me to BNL.
Honestly, I think it's up to Stephen page at this point to rejoin. He's kind of selfish and dark for bnl, but I would welcome him with open arms back to bnl if I were ed. He wrote and performed songs like "the old apartment" that has helped me through my breakup. Talented individual and one of the founding members that's been through dark times.
Steven being back on stage with them was already awesome enough, then Andy coming to play with them on "if I had a million dollars" just made this absolute perfection
Steven just slides right back in like he's never been away. Sounded so good. If this is the last time we see them together then it was a special performance to go out on. Long live BNL and the Steven Page Trio!
Met182 has the band officially called it quits? I am aware that both Creegan and Page left, but with the release of Fake Nudes, I thought they were still making music (without the two aforementioned guys). Am I wrong?
WOW. A ridiculously talented band that was always family-friendly, yet had really clever pop culture-referencing lyrics and a carefree attitude that was just infectious. I remember jamming out to "Stunt" in 6th grade, fond memories, great band.
The magic was still there, like they never missed a beat. Now we can hope they enjoyed it enough to sign up for the "Everything Old Is New Again" Tour sponsored by Kraft.
The happiness seen in this performance makes me cry tears of joy every time. If this was a one-off, it was a great way for Steven Page to say goodbye. If it was a real reunion, then it was a great way for Steven to say hello. Truly a bittersweet moment in Canadian history, right here.

They bring smiles to so many people's faces. I had the chance to meet them back in the days along with so many other Canadian artists like 54-40, The Waltons, Gowan, Blue Rodeo, Our Ladypeace, Headstones, Chalk Circle, Moist, Respectables, Junkhouse, Vovoid, etc... Lots of good memories... I have a funny story for you here... This was at a Bar/Venue called Bourbon Street Club in QC, Canada. I went there to see Blue Rodeo and was very tired because I came back home from Toronto the same day (6hrs drive) + the drive to that venue. So I arrived and saw one of my good friends at the consol and learn he was their new tour manager. So we sat the consol to enjoy the show. After that, he invited me backstage (they had a big stage outside instead of using the small stage inside) and we chilled there for a few moments. Very nice guys! Then my friend asked me "Wanna see our home?" (It's the tour bus and that's the only true privacy a band has when touring except for the hotels from time to time). So we walk in, and there is Basil Donovan sitting on the front couch. My friend says: "xxxx this is Basil, our bass player. Basil, this is my good friend xxxx". And me, very tired to say... "Hi Bass!" You should have seen Basil's face... I let you guess what went through his mind at that moment LOL. I then said: "Sorry, it's one of those days.... long drive from TO to home, then to here to see you guys". We all had a good laugh. :D
Steven hinted at.... 'something'... on his recent tour. Not sure what that will mean. Maybe a one-off in the studio, or some benefit thing? Who knows. They seem to at least be mending fences, and it seems Steven is much more at peace with himself and his demons now.
Love BNL and especially Steven Page...his voice is epic!!!! I was attending Ryerson Uni when I first saw them ... they were cutting their teeth on the music scene in Kew Beach above the Scarborough Bluffs....those were the good old days. Sending love from Tampa, FL
Awesome to see. I always look to see when will Steven join back up. It was said to see what happened to Steven. I met him once in an FAO Swartz buying his son toys. He seemed like a nice guy and father.
They absolutely need to do at least one big reunion tour together! Maybe to celebrate Covid being over, it would help heal the world. BNL needs that special chemistry with Steven back!
it also brought tears to my eyes as well on how much i missed seeing him be with the band again. Andy i was shocked to see i don't think he's played with them in over 20 years. he'll close to 25 years really
I love their music a lot. My husband tries to interpret them for me but it’s challenging. I enjoy it interpretation or not. Just because I can’t hear anything at all doesn’t mean I don’t like it. I love it a lot and thoroughly enjoy it always. It’s a lot of fun. Ty loves it too!
Amazing timing. I was just looking at some of the old hits they had an this came up and it happened to only be 10 days old. They had a few mistakes in there but that was still damn good...
I met Ed at Adamson Barbeque in Toronto. He was just as nice in person as he seems on stage. He took a picture with me and my friends. Then I discovered we were born in Scarborough two days apart!
I saw these guys back in '94. It was my first concert ever. At the Kraft Dinner part they opened actual boxes of it and ate the dry macaroni and cheese powder. The crowd went wild.
Just been to watch them in Wolverhampton tonight. Obviously no Stephen, but still well worth it. They still enjoy themselves on stage. Audience interaction is superb. Just FUN…….😊

Ed and Steven together made the BNL so magical.
This gave me such a deep happy feeling! Grinning like a little kid!
Awesome to see. I always look to see when will Steven join back up. It was said to see what happened to Steven. I met him once in an FAO Swartz buying his son toys. He seemed like a nice guy and father.
Looked like a complete, full, and happy band there. Best performance in quite a few years "together"
They absolutely need to do at least one big reunion tour together! Maybe to celebrate Covid being over, it would help heal the world. BNL needs that special chemistry with Steven back!
Oh how they enjoy this short reunion. You can see it, you can feel it. awesome.
it also brought tears to my eyes as well on how much i missed seeing him be with the band again.
Hey! They kept "k-car"! No one now knows what the fsck that is anymore, but thanks!
I’m still rocking the 87 Reliant K lol
I had a 87 Dodge K Car great times in that car
I have a mate who thought it was a small Japanese car, so still sort of made sense to him.
I always assumed the lyric was kei car lol
Watching this makes me feel so happy. This is the anthem of my teenage years! Nostalgia overload!
Amazing timing. I was just looking at some of the old hits they had an this came up and it happened to only be 10 days old. They had a few mistakes in there but that was still damn good...
love these guys, Canadian Treasures! Get back together
I met Ed at Adamson Barbeque in Toronto. He was just as nice in person as he seems on stage. He took a picture with me and my friends. Then I discovered we were born in Scarborough two days apart!
watching this in 2024 rocking out to it like its 1998 all over again
I saw these guys back in '94. It was my first concert ever. At the Kraft Dinner part they opened actual boxes of it and ate the dry macaroni and cheese powder. The crowd went wild.
Just been to watch them in Wolverhampton tonight. Obviously no Stephen, but still well worth it. They still enjoy themselves on stage. Audience interaction is superb. Just FUN…….😊
