  • The Mercedes-Benz Museum was located on the grounds of the Mercedes-Benz plant in Untertürkheim until March 18, 2006 and was reopened in May 2006 in the Mercedes-Benz World. The museum covers an area of around 3,500 m² and offers around 17,000 m² of exhibition space spread over nine floors. The building is 47½ m high and has a floor space of 210,000 m³. Next to the main entrance there is an open-air arena for 900 spectators.

I should check it out also once again - I can notice the exhibition has slightly changed compared to a few years ago when I've been there the last time. I am usually there for the Classics & Coffee retro & vintage car meeting which is hold in front of the museum almost every Sunday between middle of April to beginning of October (this Sunday it will be the last time for the year). I can also recommend car enthusiasts to also visit the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart, the MotorWorld in Böblingen, the Technik Museum in Sinsheim & Speyer when being in this region.
